    I have a 4 year old cooler master g650m 650w psu. I may just take the chanse on trying a new power suply and i may werry well regret it but oh well

    Last week i had a sudden problem in that my computer out of nowhere turned off and the power in my room had gone. Later i started troubleshooting to find out what is wrong and i find out that it is my power suply and that a fuse may be the problem so i try to by pass it just to see if that was the problem. When trying, the same thing happend again with a bright spark for a split second and i see that there was melted a hole in the fuse. So i found out what the problem is and ordered a new powersuply, but afterwards i started to wonder. Could this have effected my whole system? If so how do i know if it has.
