  1. i am unsure why there is such a big difference in price between the two (the blue one is 129 aud and the red is 150 usd) considering they are basically the same backpack
  2. I had one of these (my dad decided he liked it and uses it for work now), it was the blue one, has seperate compartments, they all seem waterproof, and it is super comfortable and to my knowledge it still isnt damaged, (my dad works as a mechanic in the mines so its constantly in the weather etc.) https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/predator-model/NP.BAG1A.288 https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-model/NP.BAG1A.220
  3. sometimes the storage ammount is modified and after it gets to a certain amount it just overwrites itself, i think linus got an sd card a while back that had a large amount of storage and it showed up but after a small amount of data went across it screwed up, basically a fake
  4. Just a heads up, when i overclocked the i5 (9600K) to 4.8 or 4.9 (i cannot remember) there wasnt a large difference in the frames in most of the games i was playing, except for one, Gta V, this game for some reason did not like the overclock and preformed 20-30% worse than what it should have been using a stock 9600K paired with a 2070 (also adding the point that this overclock was stable, in that i stressed it for over 24hrs and it never went above 90 degrees and didn't blue screen or anything to say there was something wrong, everything else was fine, just gta, i was getting around 60 - 75fps, should have been closer to 100, also i was running at high, and the 100fps mark is for ultra settings so it wasnt preforming that well, at first i didnt know what it was that was the problem, then i thought of the overclock a few days later and removed it, it was good, gta was running a lot closer to expected) also anytime mate, its what the fourms are for
  5. yeah i would rather go 144hz if im getting 160 frames over 240 as every time the monitor wants a new image there will be a new one for the monitor rather than it waiting for an image, i was getting 140 - 170 in ground war on high settings, if i turned v-sync on it lowered to between 60 and 75 so i would suggest leaving v-sync off, though in mordern warefares defense the cpu usage when the game launched was between 25 and 35% and after the first update till now, it sits between 50 and 80% usage on my 9900k so im not sure how some others are finding the experience tbh i would not get the 240hz monitor as the reason i went from a 2070 to 2080 super was that mordhau was running at 80 - 115fps on my 144hz monitor (paired with a 9600k), with the 2070 basically i adjust the settings in any game i play so it sits above 100frames (including the 0.1% lows), usually the games run at above 144hz (may only be slightly) and dip below every now and again i was offering, im just sitting here watching House .M.D on one monitor while i wait for this thing to 3D print so i can then sleep lol, got about 1hr and a half left on the print
  6. any of these games did you want to know the frames for? as i have these ones installed
  7. just got back, i usually have the settings high - ultra, i dont use rtx unless its a story based game in which i can admire it (control), ill boot up modern warfare now
  8. depending on the graphics settings the 2070 super may run some of them games at 240fps (but i dont believe it will be modern warefare or battlefield v as im using a 2080 super and an i9 and sit around 180 fps in mordhau, ill have a look at modern warfare after i take a shower {just finished work})
  9. dont thank me, it was Plouffe, i just stole his thunder lol muhahahahaha
  10. will you be connecting via ethernet cable or wifi?
  11. the 1660 super is a tad faster but has 2gb less Vram so for 1080p i would go the 1660 but for 1440 or 4k you might make use of the extra 2gb, as if your game exceeds the vram it will give you really terrible performance also the benefit of going a hdd over a secondary drive gives more storage for the same if not a tad less cost with a very little impact to performance (i run everything off of the hdd's in my system and windows on my m.2 and you may wait an extra few moments before you can play the game but its not an extreme wait especially if the game is loaded and you are going from one environment to another) thats also a very nice looking motherboard i would go back to 3000MHz or 3200MHz ram as its a tad cheaper and you probably would really notice the difference paired with a 580 or 1660S, would also see how much the gaming x is (gpu) as imo they do look more premium could possibly be a broken hdd
  12. how old is the laptop?, also might be a good point to add i use a x72 360mm aio and a msi trio gpu so its probably a tad louder than the setup your going for especially during gaming
  13. what does that mean for people who dont plan on changing their gamertag, like will i become like WickedStarfish#190378238974? or will i be the OG?
  14. im not 100% sure on hdd noise and things like that, but my pc is less than a meter from my head and i dont even hear the hdd's inside of it, i hear the fans for the aio and gpu so i dont really get the noise statement (as i said im not knowledageable on the subject and am just a little interested, also i use 2x 8tb Seagate Barracuda's and a 4tb hdd from my first build (5-7 years ago))
  15. tbh go with the combo that is the cheapest on your wallet (motherboard/cpu combo) as then you can use the other money elsewhere as my last setup was a 2070 and 9th gen i5 combo and it struggled to maintain 144 frames at high or ultra settings (thought im taking about the 2017 starwars and mordhau which are a lot harder to run than csgo)
