  2. Hello, I recently build a new PC with these specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x GPU: Msi Radeon rx 580 8GB PSU: EVGA 550 G3 Supernove gold MB: Asus X470 Prime RAM: Corsair vengence 16 GB Boot Drive: Crucial MX500 250GB M.2 SSD: WD 250GB SATA HDD: 1 TB Seagate Wifi Card: TP Link wn881 So I experience four different scenarios that all point out to a problem in the gpu or psu but I don't know how to know the exact issue: 1- the screen would black out for a second to five seconds and then turn back on again (audio doesn't cut) 2- the screen would black out but never work again unless I force shut the PC then it works ( Graphics card fans stop working ) 3- the signal to the monitor cut out and the monitor would display no input detected and I have to force shut the PC ( Graphics card fans stop working ) 4- the pc would restart on its own most of them I had while playing games, but I also experience some while watching videos or browsing web I would appreciate if someone can help recognize what the exact issue and how I can determine the defected component. Note. I did update my graphics drivers to the latest 18.8.1. Thank you
  3. I did consider the AC except I won't benefit from it right now but maybe in the future. I didn't know if it is worth it to spend the difference as for the M.2 I would consider the 256 GB Adata. ( I already own a WD ssd 250 GB that I will put in the system too ) Thank you
  4. Haven't considered m.2. the A Data is on sale now so I might actually get it. Thank you
  5. Not in my country unfortunately I was hesitant to get the monitor online cause defects are common so I prefer getting it locally with no shipping cost. 144 hz monitors start at around 300$ minimum Thank you for the help
  6. Hello, I'm about to place my order for my first custom build Any thoughts or advice before I proceed ? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PWzcMZ Some of the decisions I made are: - Asus over Gigabyte and Msi for Motherboard, mostly because it has USB type C and some peaople say Asus is just better for MB - RX 580 8GB over 1060 6GB mainly because of the Freesync in the monitor ( went for Msi, or should I go for Gigabyte or XFX ? ) - Ryzen 7 2700x because I do graphic designs, 3d animations and rendering ( I also like the cooler ) Any thoughts ??? Also a question about Amazon Warranty. If any defect was found in any component during the warranty period and I have to send it back, is the shipping cost covered or should I pay for it ? ( I don't live in the US ) Thank you,
  7. I'm thinking of getting a 1070 too, but I'm waiting for the new ones to come out so I can get it for less, or maybe they come with a reasonable price Unless you can't wait
  8. I was planning to not overclock unless I feel I need to
  9. Oh, so what if I don't want to overclock? Should I go with 8700 instead and H370 I will be using the device for gaming, Graphic design, 3d modeling and rendering
  10. Hello, I just wanted to ask when the H370 motherboards are expected to be released and at what price range? Also, what is the difference with the Z370. Currently this is my planned build, but I'm gonna wait a little maybe GPU prices go down so I might as well wait for H370 Processor: intel i7-8700k 3.7GHz 6-core MotherBoard: Asus Prime Z370-A RAM:Corsair Venegeance LPX 16GB (2x8) DDR4 - 2400MHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce OC 8G - or MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6G Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO SSD: WD-Blue 2.5" 250 GB SSD HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 7200 RPM Power: EVGA SuperNOVA 550W 80+ Gold Certified Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS OR NZXL S340 Elite (Black) - (what you think) Wifi: TP-Link N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI-Express Adapter https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MoHS/saved/#view=DWTf8d Thank you,
  11. Hello, I'm planning to build a PC for the first time, I'll use if for gaming mostly as well as Graphics Design, 3D modeling and rendering. my only concern is choosing the GPU at this time of the year. At first I was planning on getting GTX 1070, as I don't think I need a 1080 and was not welling to pay for it. But after seeing the prices I found that 1070's are +710 USD and 1080's can be found at 760-810 USD at the same time I started considering getting the GTX 1060 which is much cheaper at around 400 USD. Anyways, I want your opinion on whether the 1060 would be enough for me or not. Can it run 1080p @144Hz even if at Mid settings ? and does it provide more value than the 1070 or 1080 at its price ? Note that most of my 3D rendering is done on my company's PC. But I might still use mine. Processor: intel i7-8700k 3.7GHz 6-core MotherBoard: Asus Prime Z370-A RAM:Corsair Venegeance LPX 16GB (2x8) DDR4 - 2400MHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce OC 8G - or MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6G Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO SSD: WD-Blue 2.5" 250 GB SSD HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 7200 RPM Power: EVGA SuperNOVA 550W 80+ Gold Certified Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS OR NZXL S340 Elite (Black) - (what you think)? Wifi: TP-Link N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI-Express Adapter https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MoHS/saved/#view=DWTf8d Finally is it worth waiting for April or May in hopes for the prices to go down, or will I regret it ? Thank you
