  1. In case it is important, my build is Ryzen 7 1700x on an MSI B350M Bazooka mobo, GTX1070, in a Phanteks P400 case. I am looking to upgrade my RAM since my mobo supports up to 3200 (assuming I read everything right). From what I have read, the G.Skill Flare X 3200 seems to be best, but I want to be sure before I buy anything. Corsair has a few sets of 3200mhz RAM, but the G.Skill seems to have better timings. Anything I am missing?
  2. Yeah, that's the one I am looking to replace. If that one is screwed in and I can just screw another one in its place, that would be great too. I'd just really rather avoid having to change the backplate because I would have to remove everything and take the whole board out. Thanks!
  3. I am looking for some suggestions on CPU air coolers for my Ryzen 7 1700X on an MSI B350M Bazooka Mobo. Preferably ones that include the tension screw clips (that connect to the little plastic hooks already on the board), because the back of my board would be a huge pain to get to if I needed to change a backplate. My computer came with a little dinky Cooler Master air cooler installed. I am not worried about it being vertical or horizontal, as I have both a back and top exhaust fan already set up. Thank you in advance!
  4. Thank you for the quick replies Legacy99 and Theguywhobea! Any recommendations for an air cooler that can handle an overclocked 1700X and fit my board?
  5. I don't need to worry about width? I've seen some pretty bulky coolers, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of real estate on this Mobo.
  6. Hello everyone, I am looking for help identifying this Cooler Master CPU air cooler that is currently installed on my computer. It is sitting on my Ryzen 7 1700X CPU. At base clock (3.4) and game boost clock (3.6) it has done fine. I am doing some thinking about possible upgrades down the line, and possibly doing some overclocking. Can anyone specify which model this is? Worth it to look into upgrading if I get into overclocking? The rest of my build in case it becomes relevant. MSI B350M Bazooka MoBo, Ryzen 7 1700x, GTX 1070, 16GB of RAM currently at 2933 (I will probably upgrade to 3200 G.Skill Flare X, but am currently waiting for a deal). In a Phanteks P400 case. Thanks in advance!
  7. Thanks! New to this board, so thank you for the tip as well. I'll try out some stress tests when I get time tomorrow, and see what it looks like.
  8. MSI B350M Bazooka Motherboard, Ryzen 7 1700x, a coolermaster CPU air cooler (unsure of exact model), 16GB RAM at 2933, GTX 1070. At idle it is in the low 30's C, just browsing or playing a non demanding game like Slay The Spire, it is in the low 40's. I haven't checked temps after playing something for a while, but I've haven't had problems and the air coming out of it is always cool. If having an extra exhaust is even slightly beneficial, I might do it, decent fans are pretty cheap.
  9. My new computer is in a Phanteks Eclipse p400 case. I have the 120mm intake fan and 120mm exhaust fan it came with, and I supplemented it with a 140mm intake fan in the front panel and a 140mm exhaust fan up top. My temps are fine, but is there any benefit to putting another exhaust fan up top? It has space for 2 and currently the front most space is empty. Would it improve airflow to put another up there, or will it not see much benefit over leaving it open air?
