Defragmenting your hard drive doesn't really change the hard driver, per se, but it moves data that is fragmented (spread between different sectors or just spread across the drive). It likely won't do anything, but it won't hurt to try.

Th drive being an SSD doesn't make a difference, it's just the interface (?) (like SATA or PCIe). M.2 is just the form factor, an M.2 drive uses PCIe lanes for a more direct connection to the CPU. Anyways, your M.2/PCIe drive/SSD is about the size of a stick of gum.

Click on the audio icon in the bottom right corner and you might be able to click on the audio output text. If you can, you will maybe have options to switch between audio outputs. If not, make sure your audio header is plugged in properly if you're using front audio jacks.

If AMD is red, NVIDIA is green, and Intel is blue, then they form RGB. As we (people who watch LTT videos) all know, Linus reinforces the fact that RGB is necessary for any PC. All of the companies stated above make the CPUs and Graphics Cards/GPUs needed on every computer. This proves that RGB forms the basis for all computers, whether it'd be gaming, servers, laptops, web-surfing, or workstations. Unfortunately, I cannot make a petition for anyone who sees this to agree with me, so if you do agree with me, respond with "Every PC needs RGB!" I hope this gets on to and LTT video.

There is no set "magic oc values" for any processor. The simplest way is increase multiplier by 1 then add a lil voltage then repeat until you hit a thermal limit or you crash. If you do get super lucky and get 5.4Ghz and temps are fine, then just tune the voltage further. You shouldn't be looking at the highest stable clock for others but instead what the highest stable clock for you at a safe voltage and temperature

To all of those who have or haven't read the Hunger Games, there's a character named Peeta Mellark. There's also a type of bread called pita, which I think is pronounced the same way. This Peeta character's parents are bakers. IRONIC? Yes. Hotel? Trivago.

Qwright10 reacted to Volbet in Peeta Mellark/Hunger Games
That would depend on your accent.
Pita is usually pronounced with a soft "t", making it sound more like a "d".
The name "Peeta" would, probably due to its familiarity with "Peter", be pronounced with a hard "t".

The first vowel sound in "Peeta" (at least like it's pronounced in the movies) is ø quite a bit longer than the first vowel sound in "pita".

Never said GPUs had optional power connectors, but plenty of motherboards do. To a newcomer who doesn't know that, it's not clear whether they're required or not, especially since GPUs without any PCIe power connectors exist.

No that's the speed of the integrated GPU (on the CPU). There is no limit to the GPU speed on a dedicated GPU. You are fine to pair it with any card.

I'm not sure you have quite got your head around it yet.

An igpu is an intergrated graphics processor unit that is built into the cpu. Since the cpu doesn't have ram built in (ignoring cache memory) the igpu needs to use system ram. It can only use up its limit (in this case 2gb), however often it won't use that much. Typically you would go into bios and configure the minimum & maximum amounts of ram that the igpu can or will use. Point being that just because the igpu has a limit of 2gb and it is available doesn't necessarily mean it will be allowed to use that much.

A gpu (or discrete graphics card) will come with it's own ram. It does not use the system ram.

edit: I should add I have never really fully investigated this and I could be wrong on some of the max limit stuff.

the 2gb supported video memory is for the intergrated graphics your chip has. The vram on your gpu has nothing to do with that so using a 4gb graphics card would work just fine.

Qwright10 reacted to Kenjo in Video Memory greater than supported
Before evil people answer you i will,

The max supported Vid memory reported by the CPU is for the Integrated GPU in the CPU, basically the IGPU can max use 2gb of your System memory as graphics memory it has nothing to do with a discrete gpu´s memory capacity.

You can safely purchase ANY Discrete GPU that has more than 2gb Video memory since those two have no corrolation to each other
