for bonus points you could have the same style of casing for the power supply

imo it would depend on the type of shot (and also the type of mic), if, say, it was a shot in which the subject would say something and then they would jump into a pool right after it (in the same shot) I guess holding the mic would be a bit better than clipping it or taping it on the subject although, I get your opinion anyway, given that the example I gave is more of an edge-case rather than the norm

Hey folks,
the end of the year is coming (or has come depending on where you live and what time you're reading it at) and I have to say that I'll be taking a good amount of time off from a large percentage of my online presence for studies reasons.The hiatus should start sometime after the end of @GOTSpectrum's birthday folding sprint, which I've joined (you too can also join until January 8th), and should last right until sometime in May/June/July (you never know with these things) with at least a quick update, although, in the mean time, I'll still be kinda in touch with some folks through other means.
