  1. Delid it... If you are brave enough ! If that doesn't fix it and you are already using a top notch thermal compound(probably mx4), then my friend, you are a victim of a bad silicon lottery. I don't see the PSU as an issue. At those temperatures, overclocking is a pretty BAD idea. Intel never guaranteed you a high overclock, K series has always been a gamble.
  2. OK, Thanks ! Actually, those tasks have only recently popped up. Before, I did those on my desktop which has now been equipped with a Logitech G29. Also, having a portable workbench is never a bad thing
  3. I currently use an Asus A555LF laptop and 4GB of ram simply doesn't cut it (Especially with Chrome Hogging up every precious resource !) Now, I can upgrade it to either 8GB(4+4 Dual Channel), or 12GB (4+8). The RAM it came with is soldered, so upgrading that is a no go. Now, the laptop is used for gaming(Mostly), streaming video, Blender 3D, and Virtual Machines(Rarely) After watching a recent LTT video, and numerous games saying "Recommended 8GB", I have my concerns. I cannot keep changing the RAM config every now and then... Will 8GB suffice for another 3-4 years and is the Dual Channel and cost benefit worth it ? A 4GB stick will cost me 43$, 8GB - 86$ Few Games that will be played: GTA V, Project Cars 2, Dying Light, Forza Motorsport 7, DOOM 2016
