  1. This. My purpose here is to bring awareness and expose what has been hidden from the public for 9 years through no forum posts. What I have found is a revelation. This is the first post ever which exposes Intel iGPUs evolving backwards. cutting gpu chip - less production costs >intel after doing integrated gpu scams
  2. A scam is a scam, and this is indeed very sneaky. I made this post because no one talked about it in 9 years, so I must take the matter into my own hands.
  3. i like your pfp but that's not a little that's half I also have an i5-4440 with full HD 4600 for reference HD 4600 should be HD 4400 just higher clocked but as my HD 4400 is cut in half I have 20fps in csgo 720p but over 60fps with hd 4600 Intel scammed everyone in 2013
  4. You know what, this is true, but why having the desktop version the cut version of the laptop???? This makes no sense, PC should be more powerful????
  5. WOW!!! So I bought an Intel Core i3-4130 which, has Intel HD 4400. Or does it? Intel HD 4400 specs on every site: GT2, 20 execution units, 160 cores, My Intel HD 4400 specs: GT1.5, 12 execution units, 96 cores. After reading a forum post, I found out that the desktop haswell iGPU is CUT IN HALF, and only laptops have the full HD 4400 with 20 execution units. This is not written anywhere on the internet that there's 2 versions of HD 4400. They specifically go out of their way to gimp the performance of PC integrated graphics. Even techpowerup lists the full 20 EU HD 4400 being available in the desktop i3's, and they don't have the cut version in their database. Intel itself doesn't list 2 versions of HD 4400! JUST WOW!!! DESKTOP HD 4400 IS SLOWER THAN DESKTOP HD 4000!!!!! Every Intel HD pre-Skylake is a scam one way or another!!! If I deep dive a sky lake I might find a scam in there too!
  6. True, but the plastic hdd tray for the 2nd HDD is missing. I live in Romania and they're pretty expensive for what they do, they cost around 60 lei (12 usd) which is more than a used 500gb hdd, and it would be more cost effective to just upgrade the hdd to a ssd.
  7. This second hand Lenovo M83 came with this thing below the DVD-RW. I've never seen such device. Have you?
  8. I'm some months late but I just found this neat thing in MSI Afterburner , lol! In settings, there is a "Fan" tab, and I can enable user fan control! From there I can set what fan speed to be on what temp! I set fans to 10% when the temp range is between 0 - 40*C, now I'm not worrying about fans turning on and off a lot, they are always running at low speed. Lol didn't knew about this feature!
  9. So I got a GTX 960 from Gigabyte G1 Gaming, This card's fans do not spin until the temperature hits 50*C, and I think this is worse than having the fans on all the time. Let's say I play a game for a hour, then I go on youtube, then play a game for a hour, then go on the internet, then play a game again, and then going on facebook - I think the fans constantly switching on and off can hurt their longevity more than having them run all the time. I think one day the on/off mechanism will break and one of the fans will just not start.
  10. EDIT: I wrote a post about a cheap GPU upgrade for a certain game, but I forgot no one on this forum cares about old GPUs, everyone is interested in the expensive RTX 3000/2000 series reported and waiting for post deletion
  11. Those are my max temperatures after one hour of gaming with 99% usage. Temp 2 readings are high, what does temp 2 mean exactly? MSI Afterburner takes temp 1 as the GPU temperature. On desktop they all are under 40.
  12. All the time, games also run a lot slower than they used to because of the x1 speed, this happened after I tried to put it into the secondary PC, it did not fit and I forced it in, I struggled for about 5 minutes trying to get it into the slot and might accidentally broke that pin above PCI-E lanes
  13. I think this moved pin is the reason my GPU is seen as PCI-E x1 instead of x16, how do I fix this?
  14. I'm trying to copy old games to a 16GB USB drive. To save USB space, I compress them with WinRar, but change the compression from "Normal" to "Best". This saves quite a lot of space (like Colin McRae Rally from ~500MB to ~250MB). I don't know if it is ok to compress game files like this I think I read somewhere about having worse audio when games' audio files are compressed, but I'm not sure
  15. I wanted to delete all the files in "Temp" folder and I get this error in one file. Is someone else using MY PC? or what? Antivirus software doesn't detect anything.
