  1. Thanks, I was worried that it might be a conflict because of the different architectures.
  2. The question of the title. I currently have in my system a rx 570. If I buy an RX5500xt, could I move a slot the RX570 and have it mining meanwhile I use the 5500XT for my day-to-day card, and make it mine at night? Or is it not posible to mix and mach cross generations? Could I do this if I bought another 570 or 580? Thanks for the help!
  3. Is $390 for a 1070ti worth it? It would be kinda like buying it for $240 on the US and shipping it here (but a good bit safer)
  4. -AsRock B450 Steel Legend (they will send it updated) -Ryzen 5 3600 (I'll use the stock cooler for now, so no overclock) -RAM Team DDR4 2x8GB 2666MHz T-Force Vulcan Z Gray -PSU Thermaltake Smart 700W 80 Plus White And I have U$D300-350 for the GPU. I'm in Argentina, prices are extremely crazy here, if you want to send me a link from somewhere it will cost me the (total price-50U$D)/2 extra + international shipping.
  5. Hello people! I've just bought most of my new PC (I'm currently "rocking" a 2012 generic laptop with an i5 3230m), and am on the look out for a GPU. Here's my question, I can find used a Gigabyte Vega 56 Gaming OC ("almost new" says the current owner) for $340 US, an EVGA 980TI "Kingpin" ("very little use" says the owner) for $292 US, or a NEW Gigabyte GTX1660 OC (also the Zotac Gaming ZT) for $304. Which one do you recommend? Also, a new Gigabyte Vega 56 Gaming OC goes for $370 US. But that's a little bit outside my budget. The other parts won't arrive for about a week, so I have some time to decide. Thanks for the help!
  6. Almost non-existent. And prices are about the same, only slightly cheaper and no guaranty. The page I'm going to use to buy the PC doesn't currently have a 1070 on storage. And the 1660ti cost the same as a 2060 (around $470). Prices dropping and Argentina is practically an oxymoron. I was thinking about that, but wouldn't the performance in content creating drop a lot with a 2400G? I'll likely wait for July to see the new things, as I currently only have $600 saved. I'll have to see how are the new APUs then. But the prices seem air fairly fair (for the 570). I was watching a video and it seems like 2 570 in crossfire are about the same performance as a 590 in some games. How does that translate to content creation?
  7. Hi people! I'm from Argentina and prices are REALLY crazy here. I need some help to decide in GPU (I'm almost sure I'm going for a B450+R5 1600, 'cause that's the best board there is for the price and for some reason the 1600 costs almost $90 less than the 2600). So, here's the thing. An RX 570 here can be found (new, and in the place with the best price) at $155, the 580 is $250, and the 590 is almost $400. That last one if freacking crazy. It's cheaper to buy 2 570 and having them in crossfire than buying a 590, and only slightly more expensive than buying a 580. For reference, 1050 non-TIs, for some strange, reason are the same price (if not more expensive) than the 570. The 1060 6gb is $285 and the 2060 and 1660TI are about the same price at around $470. I was planning on expending about $800 on the PC that I'll be using for gaming, some video editing (I'm planning on starting a YT channel) and some work for college (I'm a physics student, and not advance enough to be making crazy calculations, but I might need to do them eventually -but that's for what servers are for, right?-). As I said prices down here are crazy, and about 30-40% higher than in the US. If you have some recommendation, it'll be highly welcome.
