Hi Guys,
I recently upgraded my rig to a 6700k. As soon as it was in and working I wanted to overclock and the best results I got so far is 4.6GHz (100 MHz x 46) at 1.370V.
The trouble is when I benchmark with RealBench, I'm getting a score of around 112330... which seems to be pretty low compared to the other benchmark results I've seen.
Another strange thing is that I had a score of 144430 twice, also at 4.6GHz.
So these are the results in chronological order (All 4.6GHz):
113177 - 1.400v
113158 - 1.390v
144430 - 1.380v
143788 - 1.380v
112655 - 1.370v
112924 - 1.380v
112330 - 1.370v
And my rig:
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
32Gb 2400MHz Ram
GTX 950
Noctua NH-D15
So, am I doing something wrong, or are those results okay? Can CPU voltage even affect the speed?
I really appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks!
