Nah, as long as you don't have serious overclocks, overvolting, overheating and stuff you'll be fine for a long time. It's not a console
The only thing you should really be keeping an eye on if you're safe elsewhere is your HDD. Even then it should take at least a couple years for it to start failing. That's sort of the nature of HDDs though.

ooo, it'll definitely have a better lifespan than an HDD. HDDs use moving parts that wear and create inaccuracies and get corrupt over time. SSDs (like flash drives) don't have any moving parts, so you don't have to worry about that.

sure, you could go with a smaller ssd and a cheaper case, but that is not a compromise i would want to make.

The 3770k is way better than the FX 8350. It doesn't matter what you do.
On these benchs, notice how the FX only comes ahead in very very few benchmarks, and most of those are easily within margin of error.

If you overclock at all, the difference will be even greater due to a higher IPC.

I think 2gb is good for 1080p and you'll reach the GPU limit before you hit the gram limit

I'm pretty sure he has the 3770k and is considering on upgrading.

Probably a moderate amount at 1080p and 1440p considering it generally beats the 290x at those resolutions. If you're considering upgrading though, it's probably not worth it.

I'm wanting to find people to collaborate with. I video edit, audio edit (commentary), commentate, and of course game.
I'd like to be able to help other channels and myself at the same time through one or all of the skills/things I mentioned above.

It is RC Revenge knew it within for the 2 seconds then the music started. Thank for finding it for me and I havent seen the same since maybe 2002 so I couldn't remember the name and I even looked at a list of all the games made for both consoles and they never had this game on there so that is why I missed it. But thank you for finding it for me now it is time to find a copy of the game to play.

The Intel series tends to be more efficient in the fact you get more performance per core than with AMD. However people still tend to go with AMD for budget gaming. I'd personally get the i3 (i5 if you can save a little more) as the upgrade path is a lot easier as you can easily upgrade to an i5 or i7 without the need to get a new mobo

I suggest either going to 10 or 7 as well. When I switched to Windows 8.1, I generally liked it more. However, it's riddled with bugs and annoying issues that I haven't seen in any Windows OS before it. I haven't tried 10, but if it's less buggy, it's probably a good option.

Since you already have a case, here's what I've got. You'd seriously be better off if you were willing to by from places like Newegg and Superbiiz though.

"floor it" is quite the exaggeration. the 8350 barely beats it in applications that fully utilize all available threads (which games probably won't be able to do, even with DX12). If you include overclocking (due to higher IPC), the 4690k likely beats it even in those benchmarks.

If that "8 core processor" was something like an 8350, and DX12 does effectively utilize 8 threads, the 4790k will still win.

From what I've read, there's some decent science in how burn in actually works. Unfortunately with current technology there's no absolute proof going one way or another with burn in, but in many cases it's definitely a noticeable and genuine occurrence.

Here's a decent and reasonable article going over it.

I think the most likely case is that most decent headphones have minor or moderate burn in, but combine that with getting used to foreign (to the ear) headphones over a period of time, the overall experience is exaggerated.

I've personally just found that regularly using my headphones like I normally do is the best solution. Sure, it sucks that you have to wait for your headphones to reach its full potential, but at least you get to experience music, games, and (for me) Tv shows/movie get better audio quality/clarity as time goes on.
