  1. Also, is it not an issue to have an Nvidia card with a freesync monitor? (such as this https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG-Strix-XG32VQ/)
  2. Thats helpful, thanks. Is it a big difference though between a G-sync monitor or a different high-end high refresh rate monitor?
  3. Hi all, im buying a high-end system (i7 8700k and 1080ti) and i was wondering if G-Sync is noticeable and worth it if i'm aiming to play exclusively at 144 fps. I've read that its most noticeable when frames drop below the monitor's refresh rate and since that's probably not going to happen i was wondering if i should spend the extra money for G-Sync. Since monitors are very pricey where i live it's a big deal. my choices are either the PG279Q or a larger monitor without G-sync. I should mention its going to be used for gaming and TV watching so i would prefer a monitor around the 30-32" size. Help would be much appreciated
  4. Hi everyone, So i was thinking of overclocking my laptop, as i read it has quite the good thermals, to get some better performance. However, i've no experience with overclocking whatsoever so i wanted to get a second opinion with someone with a similar system maybe that has overclocked his. Is this something i can safely do on my own? and also is it even worth it?
  5. gotcha, thanks for the help which monitor are you using?
  6. I have read that some monitors may not support 144 hz over hdmi. the samsung one has a 1.4 hdmi input, would that be enough? im playing pretty casual games, and also for future upgrades..
  7. Hi everyone, I've been doing a lot of research regarding this topic. From my current understanding im gonna have to find a monitor that supports displays over 60 FPS through HDMI (Because my laptop only has hdmi 2.0) Can anyone please specify monitors that will actually work properly for my setup? P.S i am using a Dell inspiron 7567 with gtx 1050TI. Two monitors i was considering are Lenovo Legion Y25f-10 and Samsung C24FG73.
