  1. Tried it, and yes, it seems to be an audio interface issue. You still are able hear the same noise on both chanells of the interface -> Whenever I set my gain to be above 50% on the interface, you are able to hear a staticky sound; and by increasing the gain on obs, you are able to hear the wavy sound. But could this be due to it picking up my computer noises through the usb connection, or just a faulty interface? Have also heard something about the possibility of the xlr cables being unbalanced. *UPDATE: Just tried recording something on audacity, and I don't see to be getting the same issues as on obs. Neither when I'm listening to the mic being picked up on windows sound panel. Just get the background noise
  2. Hello everyone I've had this issue for a while, but never cared to look more into it until now, since I've decided to go back to streaming... Set up and configs: I've got a Rode NT2-A hooked up to a Yamaha MG06X mixer (non-usb), which is hooked up to a Scarlett 2i2 1st. Gen (all of them being at least 4yo) connected to my pc (which is fairly old, running an i7-3820 since late 2012). After messing a bit with the filters for Mic/Aux on OBS, I got to a fairly good point, having my noise supressions levels being between -35 to -60dB (since I`ve got quite a loud computer running on the background), and my output gain being from 4 - 10db depending on how much gain I initially add through the audio interface and/or mixer. Issue at hand: Whenever I'm quiet and the mic ins't reaching the threshold set by me (-16dB for close and -30dB for open), you are still able to see the audio levels going up and down constantly and hear some, although very quiet, weird noises that shouldn't be there, as shown here: https://youtu.be/oiMPMbLDh_0 I don't think the noises comming through are a result to some Obs glitch; neither a faulty audio driver for my scarlet 2i2; but rather from a hardware issue related to the mixer, audio interface or even the microphone. I've also tried muting the microphone'`s volume at the mixer, and just adding gain from the scarlett interface, which made this sound in result: https://voca.ro/osMaCfQ3LQm Could this be just my interface fucking up; ground loops or mechanical noise coming from my pc and getting through the audio interface? I've got no idea what it could actually be, but will be willing to provide anything so I can behind all this. Thanks Everyone, Bala.
  3. @Praxis727 it`s a cheap Maxxtro SP-211U, but it`s actually pretty solid. @syn2112 Since I think this could be a power supply issue, let me list my set up: i7-3820; 3,8Ghz (will list the voltages if needed, since I think they are a little bit off). P9X79 motherboard. Corsair TX750 V2 Power Supply Corsair H80 Water Cooler. NZXT Tempest Evo Case with all 5 fans running. ASUS ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING. Also, I`ve noticed that this could most likely be a USB interference problem or a power from USB port issue, since all Audio I/O ports seem to be working without any interference whatsoever (havent tested the mic port yet though). The front audio jack seem to get worst interference whenever I plug in a usb device as well.
  4. Hello everyone. I dont think this might be a good place to ask such in depth questions about audio, but I though I would give it a go if there are any audio engineers in here. I`ve been interested in audio for the past few years, got myself a microphone, a mixer, 2 audio interfaces, etc, but have always been troubled by different kinds of noise. Up until recently I`ve used a Yamaha MG06X mixer connected to a Beringher UCA222, in which I connect a Rode NT2-A Microphone. While recording, even when my interface was at 0 gain, it has always emited a sound in the background, and I started wondering if the problem could be a possible audio loop, but never got trough searching it since my Behringher interface started having an issue and it`s through repair right now; and same goes for my other audio interface, a Scarlett 2i2, that also was faulty. Right now, I am using an old Tritton 720+ solution that was never used: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1062758/Tritton-720Plus.html#manual Since I plugged it into one of my usb ports, I noticed that the audio recording was also having interference, but this time much louder and clearer (will be listed as mic interference in the soundcloud link below), and also noticed that pretty much everything related to audio seems kind of... broken. My speakers give out way too much interference and sometimes even radio frequencies (also listed in the soundcloud link below), my front audio jack seems to be suffering from usb audio loops and also the same frequencies that affect my speakers. What can I do or try to fix this? I thought of buying a ground loop isolator, or even an usb isolator, but that doesn't`t adress the issue of my speakers being connected to the back audio jacks and still giving out too much noise, and even if I bought a sound card, I`m scared that it could be a motherboard issue, or a eletric noise issue that will still remain. I really need help guys. Thanks. https://soundcloud.com/gabriel-mueller-529073737/sets/audio-issues
  5. Actually, I do have a SSD. It's a 120GB Force GT Sata 3 from Corsair, but I also have two 1TB Hard Drives, being one used mainly for storage of games. Note: My PC has been booting up slowly than it has ever been. Yeah, problems all around.
  6. Will do some benchmark videos and add some razer cortex stats for fps so you guys can check it out; but from what I`ve seen, I`ve gotten a boost in a lot of games. My GTAV benchmark has gone significantly up. Cinebench scores were still the same. But I`ve also noticed a slow down in normal desktop usage for some reason. And since my ram TRFC (dont know what this stands for) seems to be below average, what should I try now? Obs: Thank you guys so much for the help. And about the pricing: it was a normal stick I bought from an online reseler, and it`s original (Both CL10 and CL9).
  7. It was such a pain for me to set up the 8GB Ram into the DIM_B1 slot cause the water coller was almost way too big for it to fit. But anyway, yes, I`ve seen a big boost in FPS performance for some games, but not all. Also, CPU-Z stats :
  8. So, I`m about to take out my ram sticks and try to put them into the correct order as you guys mentioned. But I have one question first, how may I config my XPM?
  9. I could overclock it to 3,8Gz, but I doubt it would make such a difference, but not sure though. And my temps get up to 70C when on stressing tests or benchmarks, but never 80C.
  10. Also, it`s not the Deluxe edition. Idk how much of a differente it makes, but just to let you know.
  11. Also, should I just try to use DDU to unistal the GPU drivers and see if that works, or should I also format it?
  12. Not so sure if my ram will be able to fit the other side.
  13. Sorry guys, had to work all day long for the past few days. I`ll take out the 2 CL9 Blue ram sticks tomorrow and see if it get`s any better.
  14. I haven`t got a chance just yet, since this a computer that I also use for work, but will do asap. But as I`ve told before: This 2 are pretty much the same ram, just varying in size. And I still have got no idea if this is what`s actually making the issue. If this doenst work, I`ll try formating my computer as well.
  15. Besides this main set up, I also have plug into my computer a dual monitor set up (A 21 LCD Samsung Monitor and a 27 LCD TV Samsung Monitor), a Razer Chroma Keybord and a Razer Naga Hex v1, as well as a Yamada Mixer, my printer and sometimes A logitch C920 HD webcam, and it has always holded up just fine.
  16. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Memory-High-Performance/Vengeance®-—-4GB-Single-Module-DDR3-Memory-Kit/p/CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B https://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-8gb-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz8gx3m1a1600c10 I got both Vengence Memory kits from Corsair, and it seems like the only difference between CL9 Blue and CL10 Black is the limit of ram, being Blue up to 4GB and Black up to 8G. And actually, all memory sticks are the same frequency, 1600Mhz, not 1333 Mhz as mentioned before (will edit that out), but I am not sure about the timing. But going back to my original question: is it my ram actually making my 1060 perform poorly, or could it be another thing? I just upgraded my graphics card, but have been using this 24GB combo for over 2 years now, and it has never ocurred my any problems in that aspect.
  17. As discussed before, I turned all V-sync options off on Nvidias control pannel, ajusted it to be adapatative in game, and turned off v-sync in GTA, but it made no difference.
  18. 16GB of DDR3 CL10 Black Vengence 1600Mhz RAM + 8G of CL9 Blue Vengence 1600Mhz Ram Ram - Slots 5 - 8:
  19. Yes, it`s off. You can see it in the video as well.
  20. https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/TX-Series™-TX750-—-80-PLUS®-Bronze-Certified-750-Watt-High-Performance-Power-Supply/p/CP-9020042-NA Power supply specs are in the link posted above, I`ve tried unplugging and replugging everything in as firm as possible, but it made no difference, and at this time I cant check the amperage, but will do as soon as possible. And I`ve also tried to mess with v-sync option in nvidias control pannel; turning everything off or ajusting it to be adaptative, but it made no difference as FPS is concerned. I`ve reinstalled my GPU`s drivers as well, but it still keeps the same.
  21. I know it`s hard to see, but in both GTAV videos, MSI Afterburner is running. And it wasnt activated when I recorded since I had just upgraded. It`s now.
  22. Mainly, I have Adobe, Apple and Razer related products running in the background, as well as Discord, and the game itself, but the Ram usage wont go over 25%. I`ve tried running Razer Cortex as well, and yes, I did notice and improviment in fps while running GTAV Benchmark, going up to 80 fps this time, but in more demanding areas, going as low as 45, and in game not noticing such an improviment. Same goes for other games.
  23. Before anything: Yes, I do know that a GTX 1060 is not considered a High end graphics card now a days, but I`m seriously worried that my performance is being altered, and I dont know why. Hey guys, Bala here.I`ve just upgraded my old GTX 570HD to a GTX 1060 since it was more affordable, but I`m not sure how much my CPU is actually bottlenecking my GPU, or if there are any more problems in my set up. It all began when trying to play GTA V, and my FPS wont go above 60 on the lowest settings, even though I have no limiters activated; my mouse lags a lot in the main screen, and in more demanding areas or when driving, I get around 45 to 50 fps max (I know this is not the Gaming Forum, but I would like some help to figure this one out). Videos I recorded showing the issue (Sorry about the low quality. I recorded on 1080p, but youtube screwed me over and wont go above 480p for some reason). After that I noticed that I`ve been getting frame drops in a lot of games: Dota 2 - Highest Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 100 fps, going up to 120 and as low as 75. CS GO - Highest Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 150 fps, going up to 240 and as low as 100. Fornite - Epic Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 100 fps, going up to 120 and as low as 75 (45 at tilted towers). PUBG - Ultra Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 60 fps, going up to 63 and as low as 42, mostly inside any buildings (low as 26 fps when falling off the plane). High Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 60 fps, going up to 76 and as low as 50, mostly inside any buildings (low as 26 fps when falling off the plane). GTA V - Highest Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 50 fps, going up to 60 and as low as 45. Lowest Settings, 1920 X 1080 - Average of 60 fps, going up to 63 and as low as 45. VRChat (since this card is supossed to be VR ready) - Highest Settings - Average of 45 fps, going up to 60 and as low as 35, with a lot of stuttering. Computer on non-gaming and non work-loaded activities - CineBench R15 Stress Tests - OpenGL - 71.25 fps CPU - 577 Temps and CPU usage - My CPU wont get above 73C since I've got a water cooling solution, and I've never seen my GPU go over 75C (even though normally while gaming, it wont go over 65C). Current set up: IntelCore i7-3820 (not overclocked). Asus P9X79 Motherboard GTX 1060 Strix OC 6GB 16GB of DDR3 CL10 Black Vengence 1600Mhz RAM + 8G of CL9 Blue Vengence 1600Mhz Ram Corsair TX750 Thanks guys. Bala.
