I've always paid cash for used phones. I can't justify spending $500-$1,000 on a stupid phone... I'd rather spend $1,000 on racing parts... or computer parts... or a years worth of beer

    Yeah I have an S8+ and with switching to AT&T I got a $400 discount.  Needless to say I don't plan to replace my fully paid off phone for a long time.  Prior to that I had a S3 with Sprint and that lasted ages especially with the removable battery
