so turns out the issue was my display uses DP 1.4 and Nvidia 10 series and older need updates from Geforce Experience to run with those kinds of displays.

So i decided to get an r7 7700x and an asrock x670e pro mobo to go with it and i have everything installed and works just fine. However when I put my gpu in the system will turn on but not post at all, i tried my gpu in my old pc and it works just fine so idk if this is some bios thing that needs to be patched but if anyone has any ideas im all ears

HI! I was wanting to upgrade my cpu to an i5-8400, (I don't have the money for an i7 and my mobo isn't overclock friendly) and I noticed that my ddr4-2133 ram isn't supported in the 8400 product page. If I were to buy the chip would my ram still work?
