  1. I have not found a solution to this problem yet. I have found a quick fix however. One of the options for my display is switching the refresh rate to 48hz from 60hz. It does not flicker when I switch the display to 48hz...it works, but I have no idea why. I am thinking of also trying factory reset of my laptop to see if that will fix anything as a last resort.
  2. I tried this and a message came up when I began the installation that read, "Your system has a driver that is locked to manufacturer specifications. Please try downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer's website to update." Do you know if there is a way I could bypass this?
  3. I recently shifted to Windows 11 and a new problem started to occur. My display won't stop flickering *see video*. I have reinstalled the display drivers for my laptop (ASUS Zenbook 13 UX331UA). It has an i7-8550u with UHD 620 graphics. The two display drivers I have from ASUS are: 27.20.100.8682 and 26.20.100.7325. Both cause the incontrollable flickering. I can use the "Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor Drivers" which stops the flickering, but is also not the best as it doesn't let me change brightness levels and it is choppy. Windows Update is not helpful here...can I use other laptop model's display drivers that have similar specs? Any input is appreciated. 20230620_171416.mp4
  4. I have an ASUS Zenbook UX331UA-DS71 and have been having some weird network issues lately. On my University's campus whenever I connect to the network I often get blue screens. On these BSODs the stop code is: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. It also cites what failed as Netwtw06.sys. This only happens on my University's network and never anywhere else. I have made sure all drivers are up to date from ASUS's website and even reset the whole laptop hoping it would fix it. I brought it to the IT dept. on campus after nothing worked and they just did a cmd scan: sfc /scannow which turned nothing up. Any help/advice would be appreciated. I cannot use this laptop for my studies for fear of losing any data unexpectedly and cannot do any online exams for the same fear.
  5. I am attempting to replace my wireless adapter in my laptop. I currently have a Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA435 (pictured below). I do not know what adapter will be compatible with the socket I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  7. @Crunchy Dragon This is what I thought too, but I cannot find 8Gb sticks anywhere. Any places your know of? Thanks!
  8. Greetings! I am looking to get my hands on some more RAM. I have 16Gb (2x8) Geil Potenza 2400MHz ddr4, but I am borrowing one of the 8Gb sticks from my brother leaving me with only one 8Gb stick left. Could I get a set of 2x4Gb sticks of the same company, speed, pins, etc?
