Also check out Logitech mouses keyboards. Apparently their Bluetooth desktop switching works quite well.

I feel like air is going to be always the better choice for threadripper, unless you have space constraints seeing as some of these air coolers are taaaaaaalllll.

AIO coolers are gimmicks. If you watercool, do it right, otherwise air coolers generally are the same, if not better.

Good to hear it's all worked out.  Yes, it's a common misconception that any water cooling must be amazing regardless of other factors but the truth is all but the best setups will be outperformed by a fantastic air cooler.  If you ever find that one isn't enough you could even step up to something like a NH-D15

    hello,
I just wanted to give an update. I've received the Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3, and I will not make the mistake of giving some kind of glowing review based on 5-10 minutes of success, however, as soon as I got it installed, which turned out to be unexpectedly easy. The apparatus does in fact fit the TR4 socket without any modification, and installs  unexpectedly easy. My temps have only risen to 45C under light load, my clock speed has held steady @3700Mhz, and my voltage has remained over 1.25, and going as high as 1.5, without my temperatures going above 45C. So for the time being at least, the Noctua far exceeds in performance of what the Enermax LiqTech TR4, has evry been able to do. The Enermax has never idled at less than 68C, and far worse under load. I will report back, after I do some 4K rendering. Thank you for all of your replies, and for taking the time to read my update. I never would have guessed an air cooling apparatus could outdo any AIO, but at least in the case of the dreaded Enermax, so far, it has in spades.

There are other models out there, but I haven't seen a big test with all of them pitted against each other.  If Enermax makes you nervous (understandable) try something else.
I ditched enermax and went custom loop, but I understand that might not be an option.

Check the install manual here.  No need to pull the MOBO.  Noctua FTW.

The Noctua is the best, but if you MUST have an AIO, the second gen Liqtechs are still the best in performance as far as I know.

I agree. When one tube is hot that's certain failure.

I currently have a failing pump on my AIO, and the reason I know it’s the pump is because one tube is hot, yet the exhaust is room temperature(& my AIO is notorious for pump failure). If this is your symptoms, a failing pump or blockage would be my first guess.

That means the pump is broken or there's a block in the line. I had the same problem with an old system I had.

I'd suggest running something like HWinfo, and see if you're thermal throttling or if something else is going on, that cooler isn't that old if it is thermal throttling then contact enermax, it should still be under warranty? It was announced in august 2017 so it should still have a few months left on the warranty. pretty sure they had a 2 year warranty

Thank you for the reply, I'm going to go into BIOS and double check my settings, but I remember seeing the option for Tctl in some settings, however, I have set everything to read temps directly from the CPU, to the best of my knowledge. Also, thank you very much for reassuring me that CAM & Ryzen Master is to be trusted. After I'm done rendering, I'll go into BIOS and double check all my settings.

CAM is crap, use HWinfo instead to verify all the readings https://www.hwinfo.com/

At the moment I'm seeing 68 degrees C, which is about 155 degrees F.
Good temps, but make sure you're not thinking it's actually at 68 degrees F!
