  1. Hello there, the build above is quite decent and can definitely satisfy your needs. however, theres somethings you might want to take note such as that the motherboard does not support SLI and if you go with the 970 you cant add another one in the future, also the new RX480 and GTX1060s might be good alternatives if you might want to consider those especially the rx480 since the gtx1060 does not support sli. the current motherboard supports crossfire though so two rx480s would work fine.
  2. Hello there! I personally feel that you should spend the extra money to get the i7-6700k, in addition, you should not get the founders edition of the GTX1070 and instead opt for the cheaper and better ones with an aftermarket cooler. I also think a smaller SSD with a bigger hard drive would be better if you plan to store media and some larger games instead of a large ssd. Also, getting a monitor with a lower respond time as the one in your part list was 25ms which can be quite noticable. I made a partlist for reference, feel free to change any part to your liking. If you want to watercool your cpu it would be more significant if you were to get a 240mm or 280mm aio watercooler, but I placed a aircooler in my partlist as i feel its quite comparable to a 120mm aio watercooler and also so it can fit the 1500 budget. 6. Hello there, thank you everyone for their posts. Hi there, I understand I do not have to remove my cooler in order to clean it, however I do find it quite hard to clean out the CPU cooler that is why I've decided to remove the cooler. Hi there, thank you for sharing your personal experience and I would take that into account while making decisions. It has been almost 3 years since my cooler has been on my CPU and I've sort of neglected it in the 6months which explains the thick dust buildup almost everywhere. I took a look in the side panel to realize that the stock cooler is really dusty and dirty. Hi there, there isn't any Best Buy(s) here in Singapore, but I would look around and if its not overpriced from US prices, I might consider it. Hi there, thanks for the suggestion! I would take this suggestion into consideration, thanks' Hello there, I am not really looking into the performance gain in different thermal compounds, just wanted to know which thermal compound are good as some cheaper ones may be bad. I've found some nameless ones online and I felt it was quite shady. Nevertheless, I am just trying to clean out my CPU cooler as it would be easier if I had taken it out.
  7. Hey there, this is my first topic so hey... I'm looking into getting myself new thermal compound soon as I wish to clean the cooler out from dust, but can't seem to decide on which thermal compound to replace the stock one with, therefore I require some input from the community Thank you. I live in Singapore and plan to get the thermal compound locally... Also I'm upgrading my cooler after christmas maybe? But for the time being my CPU is going over 100 degrees and it needs some cleaning...
  8. Get a cheaper Keyboard or mouse if you want to fit in a the OS, Keyboard, Mouse and Monitors are very personal decision but I just put in some of my favourites.
