  1. i Have a similar problem with my system, its like urs but with a ryzen 3 2200g, and an rx560. I used to have no problems with fullscreening and the monitor in general but one day for some reason when i fullscreened any game, it would turn the screen black every time i changed menus (like going to the settings or to different tabs in the game). Overtime depending on how long ive been in fullscreen, the screen will stay black for longer periods of time until eventually i have to restart the game or slowly navigate to settings and change it back to windowed. ive had this problem for about 1 year now and i still cant find the root of the problem, ive tried so many things that i dont even remember what ive done and not done anymore. I dont have access to another pc or another monitor, so i cant possibly test out the problem by checking the components. Ive had to play on windowed mode for a year now and ive had to stop playing games competitively because of it. I still havent found the problem nor the solution but if you end up finding anything i would appreciate if you could update this post. BTW this problem also happens on windowed fullscreen.
  2. you think there will be a ryzen 4000 laptop thats light and cost about $1000 ub 3 months?|
  3. Im planning on buying the asus zenbook ux433fn for school and maybe i mightt be able to keep it until i graduate high school and continue on to college with the same laptop. My laptops currently is unbearably slow and the only reason i bought it was for junior high exams and it was supposed to be like a one time use thing. When i saw what ryzen 4000 was capable of i thought that maybe i should just wait like one more month for the ryzen 4000 laptops to get released and buy a laptop then, im willing to wait at most 2 months so my question is should i wait for ryzen 4000 or buy this intel based laptop?
  4. older lenovo laptops were actually kinda bad but the y540 is rlly good, id say its one of the best laptops for the price on the market right now, so i would recommend you get that, but another good laptop is the asus zenbook 14 ux433. It doesnt have an ethernet port but im pretty sure there is a thunderbolt 3 port which you could buy an ethernet dongle or something for. But if you think that the lenovo legion y540 is the best buy for you, then dont have any hesitations since the price is very worth it for the specs and the longevity, the fans are extremely robust but not loud enough to disturb most people on full load
  5. i did have one and i was looking for it this morning but i couldnt find it, i might try to test it with my tv if the first guys advice doesnt work
  6. Hi, ive already posted something like this before but i didnt quite fix my problem as no one could find out what was wrong with my PC. So basically whats been happening is that ever since i updated my windows back in the beginning of 2018, my monitor would keep blacking out wen i went fullscreen in a game and also in discord video files like twitch clips youtube clips or anything like that, but when i go to twitch and youtube and i fullscreen there is nothing wrong and i can view the content just fine. My monitor will start blacking out whenever i fullscreen a game or discord. Specs (maybe it might help) CPU: ryzen 3 2200g GPU: RX560 4GB MB: msi-B350M PRO-VDH RAM: 8GB 2400hz DDR4 PSU: EVGA bronze 450W I've tried so many things before trying to fix it and when i couldnt do anything about it i ended up resorting to playing my games in windowed mode, but now its starting to get really annoying and im considering buying a new monitor, but i dont want to if it isnt necessary. There is one game though that is quite different and thats fortnite, i found a solution for fortnite and thats to change the resolution to my monitor size in the files and put it in windowed mode, so that when i aligned it, it would remove the taskbar and i was practically playing on fullscreen but not getting any black cut outs. Though i dont know how to access the files of other games so ive never tried it before. I appreciate all your responses.
  7. i just tried all of these and none of them worked, other than updating windows... i just updated it last night so yea. If it helps i have the free version for windows so i have the watermark on the bottom right and i cant access the personalization section of windows settings (but for some reason whenever i change things on my laptop (which has windows 10 pro) it also changes on my PC to the settings i set on my laptop) i think its because im using the same microsoft account
  8. where do you download that
  9. not a sound adapter but i do have a wifi card its PCI-e
  10. i dont think you read the part where i said this is happening in every game i play and also its happening in discord video files as well
  11. CPU: Ryzen 2200g VGA: RX 560 4GB MB: msi B-350 RAM: 8GB (Dual-Channel)
  12. im gonna keep this short, ever since the fortnite update 8.30 i havent been able to fullscreen the game, as it starts to flash black sometimes, and its really inconsistent usually whenever i change tabs for example going into the settings menu, it'll make my screen go black again. At first i thought it was a problem with fortnite but then when i tried playing CS the same thing happened when i fullscreened. After that i updated my driver to see if it would fix the issue but it didnt, and now i dont know what to do. The weird thing is, i can still fullscreen on google chrome and all that stuff, just not in games and its really annoying having to play comp with input lag. any help would be greatly appreciated thx

  14. id say go with anything that has the features that closely suits what you are buying the monitor for (i see an RTX2080 so most probably youre gonna game with this thing, or editing) if say you want G-Sync buy that monitor, or if you want a curved monitor, buy that one. So what im saying is, buy the monitor with the most features that suit you
