  1. I will definitely do that. I love the Ryzen DRAM CALCULATOR but it only works if RAM already installed
  2. I just found out that the torq sticks I am getting are default 3200 but have xmp 3600 to 4000 supposedly.
  3. tyvm exactly what I was needing to know. I was offered 2x16 or 4x8 do you think I would get higher clocks on the 2x16? Also do you know a great RAM OC guide for am4? or a referance to what everything beyond the 14-14-14-14 means. been years since I last F'd with RAM OC.
  4. can you scrnshot diskmanager? just like @Eastman51 did
  5. https://prnt.sc/lcejp8 you take ownership first and let it run will take time than assign admin full control delete done
  6. and you just want windows on E: gone right? did you want anything from user profile at all? if not just delete programs programs (x86) windows users you will have to take root permissions from all files/folder to delete everything in those folders
  7. could be a mistake in spelling for what he ment and you may be right but it reads to me that he has 2 os on ssd
  8. for argument's sake let's just say a 2700x ryzen 7 OC to 4.4Ghz. IK intel is better at XMP JDEC and overclocking to higher freq but I am trying to just get a idea of were it will end up or a model that has more reviews that does about the same.
  9. yes but the drive he clone 2 now has 2x windows os. he only wants 1. Though I suppose he could use dskprt to remove everything and reclone. but than you have old drivers installed in the os and that causes buggy behavior most of the time
  10. nothing but if he is already reinstalling windows it can be easier via install media. if it is for a data-storage drive dskprt is fine

    Need help!

at those freq it is highly recommended you go with a CLC or AIO it also has advantage of being able to place rad were it will fit.
  12. should also mention it is a 4x8GB 32GB kit I believe. and I will be getting a motherboard that supports quad channel
  13. Anything over 3600 for my use case is pointless anyways. It was basically free as the original 4x8 32GB DDR3 destroyed the mobo and probably the cpu IMC
  14. I just ask about OC timings not build stuff and maybe a comparison to a different brand/model as there is not a whole lot of testing done on these in reviews. It has the 14-16-16-36 @ 3200 Samsung B-die ICs I am looking for tighter timings and higher clocks. would love to reach 3600 or higher.
  15. In the big picture of total PC cost versus the performance no $125 is a lesser evil. The cost to performance ratio is better.
