I am trying to run Halo: Custom Edition on my HP Win10 laptop. I get these 2 errors when I attempt to boot the game. It says the computer has too low specs but that isn’t right. What is the solution to this? Thanks to any response. Edit: I have the patch installed, newest DirectX, and all acceleration features are on.

Hello, I am trying to transfer a program from my host (Win10) to my VM (Win98SE). Since guest additions aren’t supported and therefore I can’t use a shared folder, How else would I do it? I have and external 3.5” floppy drive and an external cd drive but all attempts to use those have failed. Thanks to anyone who may help me.

Hello, I installed VirtualBox on a laptop so I could play games like Halo Combat Evolved on a Windows XP VM. But, every time I attempt to open the game, it crashes, saying that Direct3D acceleration may not be available. So I checked DXDIAG and it shows that Direct3D acceleration is, in fact, not available. I shut down the VM and turned on 3D/ 2D acceleration in the settings for the VM. It still doesn’t load the game, and DXDIAG still shows Direct3D acceleration as not available. What do I do?

Hello, I need to build a bistable clock circuit for my hobby computer, but the diagram I am looking at provided the wrong info, but I have already bought the ICs needed. Could someone link/create a diagram that is bistable, and uses the ICs listed below. I would also like to have the switches (already purchased) put into the diagram.

This thread is time sensitive, Please respond quickly. The replacement I am looking for is for the 74189 Tri-State 64 bit RAM, In CDIP/PDIP form. To the extent of my knowledge, I see that most companies do not manufacture this IC any longer. Is there a replacement for this chip? If you are looking for replacements make sure it is 3-state, In CDIP or preferably PDIP format, and 64 bits.

I am building a SAP-1 Hobby computer, set to run on Intel 8086 instruction set. Though, there is a detail on the (spotty) parts list. The power supply requires a fuse, as listed in the picture below. I can read the text, but I do not know what it means. Could one of you help we with that? I do not know if the 3/8-A slow blow means the filament length (in) or the rated Amperage.

I would like a build it yourself solution suitable for fast transfer of large C++ applications, with a max budget of $2000USD, but $1200-1500 would be preferred. I understand that I am not offering a high budget, but I am only working with 2 other employees. -
Hello, Could anyone compile a Parts list of items for a small server? I would like anywhere around 4-10 TB of storage and Gigabit Ethernet capability. (You can sacrifice gigabit ethernet for a smaller value if possible, I plan on needing this to be very low price.) Compartments and server racks have already been dealt with.

Is there any possible way to change every single icon to a different on without having to do it manually? For example, could I change the selected folders for icons in system32 to a folder of my own icons?

I recently built a new PC, and i currently can’t afford a license key off of the Microsoft website. From what I can understand, i have two options, disable the notification and activation page in Regedit, or purchase one from a third party seller, which I don’t really want to do. So i would be glad if someone would show me how to change the values in regedit. I already know the location of the values.
