  1. Hey guys I've really been struggling with frame drops in games that I should not be experiencing them in...I think. My rig has a ryzen 5 1600 with 16gb of ddr4 3466mhz and a gtx 1080. The monitor I'm using is a 75hz LG ultrawide with a resolution of 2560X1080 with a display port 1.4 cable. I recently purchased far cry 5 and it may be poorly optimized but I figure I should keep a strong 75 fps on high settings but instead I stay between 55 and 75 fps willy nilly. Newest drivers and all. I tried making a custom framerate in Nvidia control panel but the customize button is grayed out. I figure the only way to have a smooth experience is to make the monitor not cap at 75 and below but go higher so that i can't see a frame drop. I can't figure out how to make it work. Please Help! Thank you in advance! I feel guilty only posting when I need help but I really appreciate the feedback and enjoy seeing what ya'll talk about as a community on here. Thanks for keeping me entertained and educated!
  2. I see what you're saying and I may just be sadly confused but I've seen videos of people saying that they set it in bios.
  3. So don't change the integrated graphics because it won't give me any improved performance?
  4. Hey guys! Happy to say I now have helped a buddy build a functioning ryzen 3 2200G desktop but now I'm trying figure out how to alter the understood vram in the bios so that I can go from the default 512mb to the 2gb max. Any Ideas? I'm using the msi gaming pro g b350 mobo. The manual didn't seem to help. Thanks in advance Ben
  5. Thanks for the response @bellabichon Do you know when motherboards are likely to ship with the new bios?
  6. Hey guys thanks for taking the time to help me in advance. I have a buddy that I'm helping build a budget pc on the new ryzen 3 2200g. It has integrated graphics but the mobo he ordered needs a bios update (its an MSI b350m gaming pro micro-atx) to support the 2200g. Will he be able to see the screen without the bios update and no graphics card? All answers welcome. Thank You!
