  1. Informative
dyl009 got a reaction from Canada EH in Ryzen CPU with VEGA Graphics ONBOARD!
Can we compare to to a 1030 + Pentium G4560? This combo in the past (Pentium + cheap GPU) was the absolute budget king, would be interesting to see how it stacks up against a Ryzen APU build.

    Pentium G4560 + GT 1030 + MB = ~AUD$285
    Ryzen 5 2400G + MB = ~AUD$284
    Ryzen 3 2200G + MB = ~AUD$208

    Motherboards are both cheapest models.
    AMD MB: ASRock A320M-HDV Motherboard - $69
    Intel MB: ASUS H110M-E Motherboard - $85

I respect the comparison to 1050TI and all, but if someone is throwing an extra $100 at graphics alone (literally double the investment on graphics), you would indeed expect to to show near double the results...
Also with-in this comparison may be worth considering the fact of an M.2 slot. Even the $69 el-cheapo AMD board has this. It allows for cheap 128GB boot drives (as low as ~$70 in recent times for a branded (ie Intel) OEM drive).

    Edit:
    Thank you GN <3

According to this the GT 1030 + Pentium combo scores 1108GPU / 2304 CPU on Timespy benchmark.
According to Linus' video the Ryzen 2400G scores 1153GPU / 2835 CPU on Timespy.
According to Linus' video the Ryzen 2200G scores 915GPU / 2986 CPU on Timespy. (Seems these are often oddly winning on CPU benchmarks)

Edit: The odd CPU scores may be due to sleep bug slowing system clock.

This indicates the Ryzen 2400G is on par with a GT 1030 + Pentium combo in graphics, though pulls slightly ahead in CPU loads.
This also indicates the Ryzen 2200G may be a very suitable tradeoff, losing around 20% GPU performance though staying strong in CPU and saving the customer around $80.
