you definitely very opinionated and against new style of doing things, and you definitely seem to not know about the new tools and observability capabilities we have nowadays.
almost no one runs untested development code on prod, at least not companies that have a stable product, but that does not mean that they are not running say canary releases, and i can assure you when running canary style deployments they know specifically whats failing, how and who are the users experiencing the failures.
 
that's totally fine btw, you may be working in environments where containers, moving fast and monitoring everything may not be possible or plausible, but that does not mean there are not people doing it at scale perfectly fine out there.

im running a 2080TI driving 3 1440p 100hz ultrawide displays, I think a 2080 could do that easily too.

i been playing around with fitting all the parts. this is my last attempt. i ran out of 16mm petg tube, i may order more and try to do 2 90 bends on the tube from the RAD to the GFX and try to get it parallel to the other tube.

Different points of views. What I may consider toxicity you may find normal behavior. We all have different experiences in life and have different tolerance levels. (for me he being "civilized" in some videos do not make the other more toxic ones better.) 
 
for the way of it, most of his videos are very scripted but he has a few that are more freeform, and I think that shows up a bit more of the real him.
 
Again on all of this is just a matter of opinion. I do not know him personally, but I have my educated guess, and that is enough for me to have his content hidden.

(warning I'm very biased towards this guys, I don't like him at all) he thrives on controversy and pushes that a lot for views and comments, in YT and Twitter he always piles up with the trolls and blind fans to boost his ego. I guess once you start thriving and pushing controversy this is one of the possible end results. I don't know if he deserves it or if the claims are possible, but this is the game he plays in the end.
 
he usually acts very arrogantly in his videos, and when someone points something he does not like he starts piling his fans to attack others that do not think the same way, I think in general the community of people he manages is pretty toxic.

I work as DevOps/SRE and as such I have to deal with code in a lot of different languages (basically whatever the different teams uses) there are days where I have to make code changes in 4 different languages (python, node, typescript, golang) remembering language specifics at the rate I have to change is almost impossible. 
 
I would say that knowing where to look to get the answers to your questions doubts is more important than knowing language specifics, also using IDE's with good autocomplete and deep inspection is a must, also I usually keep a few CheatSheets for the common languages I use at hand to be a bit faster.
 
if you work professionally on a single language the knowledge will get imprinted in your brain the more you work with it, its just the natural learning process. I try not to get to used to a single language as the nature of my job demand me to be "fluid" in whatever gets thrown at me.

I totally see your point there, there is a problem of trust, insecurity generally speaking you should trust no one. so if we updated based on a trusted vendor, we already incurring in insecure practices.
 
what we need are new validation processes where the updater does not assume something is trusted.

I was looking at the art of the LOTR movies the other day and got inspired by the Mordor design to build an ITX tower heavily inspired by it.
 
 
As of know, the theme of the build color wise will be most BLACK with red accents the fittings that will most likely get painted and aged. the front panel will be modded for added airflow for the top fan and the bottom Rad fans also allowing a bit of light shining through.
 
I'm also going to build custom cables for the motherboard and the GPU using paracord sleeving cables will be black and red.

as far as I know, there is no easy way to do this with websites. if by services you mean SaaS like cloud providers or API providers, there are ways to do this programmatically.
