Same here. I liked what Linus was doing but since separation from NCIX he does not seem to have matured much or got rid of the bias - it just got worse.
Pity that companies like NVidia and Intel just gobbling what and when they want. And it's not much that people seem to be able to do as otherwise their income plummets and other sources are not enough. Fingers crossed Gamers Nexus will survive the war.
    Best of luck.

Mind you unlike Fallout 4 and others VR edition of this game is free. All you need to have is original game. So... can't complain much there, especially since "standard" version is already amazing.

Not sure why people jump to the ceiling every time there is a recall. Reminds me the IKEA nightlight - one of the most energy efficient and affordable ones at the time. Recalled because some kid managed to brake it in bits and got electric shock. Bad parenting if you ask me, not design. Either way the light is still recalled, years later.
Back to the point, the fact that there is a flaw that is found and manufacturer actively working to resolve it is a big plus. Inconvenient yes but how many manufacturers sell unworthy products with internally documented flaws that never say a word?
IF you have the laptop in question - send it to Lenovo for free repair and enjoy it for years to come. Or go to Apple already, we know you were looking for reason to switch all along.

Why is that? While it's easy to be blinded by the guys sitting deep in NVidia, Intel or AMD pockets I found it quite interesting to watch his videos. Obviously he is not for ones with deep pockets and craving for latest tech as he very nicely points out how much of a rip-off products are due to lack of competition.

What a lot of people seem to not get that while this is valuable for marketing to sell goods and services to a degree where they'll be honeypotting you at every step the real value is in crowd control at massive scale.
If you have all trends, history etc. collected for speciffic area with help of some number crunching and in near future AI you can tailor and accurately predict election and law release / amendment results. Democracy will only be democracy on paper. This is not what we have now no matter how bad it is. This is new level of messed up.

I Dont think anyone who buys a titan x is expecting any Value or understanding that what there buying is worth the price tag... Everyone knew a 1080TI was going to come and everyone knows Titans are overpriced.

Colour me impressed. I wasn't expecting NVIDIA to go and not only drop the price (whether they actually do drop as much as they are supposed to is a different matter) of the 1080, but also to announce the TI with that price. Yeah sure, it is still bloody expensive, but I have to say, Im positively surprised.

Whether this was done because NVIDIA wants to prepare for Vega's launch and it possibly disrupting or something, I don't know, but hey it is good for the consumer regardless.

It is interesting to see whether these price drops actually happen as they should, especially across the pond, but if they do, there might be some interesting decisions to be made. If AMD doesn't hurry up (I know projected launch is probably in June???), I'm sure there are quite a few people now thinking, do I wait still or just go and buy either 1080 or 1080 TI.

True in terms of wanting more but you have to remember what was available 3 years ago and what is out there now. We made major leaps from 15-30k headset that is mainly targeted towards military training to something that we can all afford albeit with some savings spent.
