  1. Thanks for the response. Thinking again It's definetly not normal (or what I would assume acceptable) observing it just with my eyes so I will contact the shop and I'll see what can be done. It bothers me and I'm definetly not happy with it, so that is my only option. Thanks again.
  2. To be honest, I really do notice some smoke kind of effect, but i tought that was maybe because I was to close to the monitor when using it. Also black levels seem kind of grayish if you know what i mean, that was my first clue. I know that a phone's camera is not interpretive of what human eye can actually see, but still, it looks to me like there is too much of a glow, and i really don't expect to see that from a va display, esspecially when i look at how it is supposed to be online (pcmonitors.com). I'm not doing this to compare my unit to theirs, I'm just worried that i got a bad one, and I really need help in trying to figure out whether or not I should return it, since it is a brand new monitor. Also I adjusted brightness level to 68 aswell and some other parameters in OSD, becouse according to pcmonitors.com those are optimal settings for color and picture quality. Also I was able to change some settings on my phone camera to where the screen seemed perfect, but I probably overdone it with the settings. Anyway, if you, or enyone else, could suggest what to do based on what I wrote, I would be very very thankfull. I know it's hard to tell, but maybe you could tell me what would you do in a similiar situation.
  3. Yesterday I purchased an AOC Q3279VWF monitor since I read good things on a review from pcmonitors.com. Anyway I really don't know what to think because to my knowledge it looks like there is some abnormal "backlight bleeding" from the unit I got, especially for a VA panel. Could it also be clouding? I took some photos with my Huawei Honor 6X smartphone under different lighting conditions for you to analyze. In a dark roomSome more pictures in dark This one is with a flash This one is with a light on Is it normal? Could it be that my phone camera is portraying worse than it is? In a review from pcmonitors.com the picture they showed in a dark room, their display is almost undistinguishable from the surroundings. So what do you guys (who are more knowledgable than myself) think? Should I return the monitor? Thank you in advance for the help, I really appreciate it. (PS, I currently live in a student dorm, so that's why my setup seems so crappy, also that chair needs urgent replacement).
