While that fiasco has now ended, everyone should support him on Floatplane, as HWUB is a Floatplane creator too!

That is missing the point completely!  It is the draconian methods of Nvidia trying to control what they are saying in their reviews that is the issue!

Hardware Unboxed - Send the Love

If you haven't heard yet, Nvidia has taken action against Hardware Unboxed with regards to the way they have been reviewing the new RTX 3000 Series cards.

So myself and a small group of enthusiasts have taken it upon ourselves to help boost the channel in anyway we can. We have donated some money to the channel and subscribed (turns out he does do some decent content, I liked the 6800XT LN2 cooled video) and have been spreading the word far and wide but we need your help.

I bring this to the forum in the hopes that the collective masses can help Nvidia see that they have made a catastrophic error in judement.

Even if you don't have the money to support a donation to his channel or you rather not subscribe to another youtuber, that is fine, just do want you feel you can, even if it is just a like on a video,( It doesn't need to be any of Hardware Unboxed videos it could be one that has covered this story).

This will hopefully show Nvidia how much backlash there has been in the community to their actions and stop this (let's be honest) censorship from happening to our media that we have a passion for watching.

Personally I don't go on forums, post content or anything like this really, but after what has transpired I felt I had to do something.

If anyone could ask an administrator if it would be OK to have this post pinned for a shortwhile, that would be great.

    Peace out

I was looking for someone doing 6800xt LN2 overclocking, hopefully it was with a binned chip though.
agreed, especially since it's about two minutes before he re-watches his wife and kids dying just to hack some top security jail.
    but schezwan sauce tho.

Really weird to see a picture of Rick Sanchez next to the phrase "share the love"

I encourage people to check out the reviews of 30 series cards that HWUnboxed did, not only can viewers draw their own conclusions about how fair they feel the content is, they can hopefully throw some ad revenue their way.

Guys i have just done the same to my imac pro here in scotland (to be fair it wasnt deliberate, i just dropped the feckin thing moving it to another desk). Problem is that it belongs to my work to allow me to work from home. When i told them about it i offered to get get it fixed at the apple store myself and pay for the repair.

When i booked in an appointment etc i got the same run around from the apple store in glasgow. They said the repair has been actively refused.

So i told my work who then decided to contact their apple buissness partner (whoever that is) and they said that they would take it off our hands and get it repaired. So two weeks pass with no communications and then the imac pro turns up at my front door, unrepaired and no documentation other than a delivery note.

My Company then contacted apple through their buisness account and still no reply and no update, it is now 3 weeks later and still nothing and we now have 5 iMac pro units awaiting repair (various faults on them ranging from failed boot device to not powering on) on top of this, we have 4 iphone X's outstanding for repair (we have sent them away but not had them back).

Just so you know the company i work for can easily spend £250,000 to £750,000 in one transaction with apple and this is the service we are getting. We have just cancelled a £120,000 order and gave it to someone else as a direct result of this

Our directors have started looking elsewhere for a more permanent option so we dont have to use apple products and run into this problem again.

It seems like there is major deficiencies behind the scenes at apple

Would it be possible to build a custom PC inside? Could be a fun little project to see if standard hardware can compete with Apple's in the same form factor.

I got this when my USB mic and DAC drivers started playing up. I subsequently bought a new Mic and dAC and this didnt appear again.
