  1. yeah i guess i can live with lower settings until new gpus come out so hopefully they come out as soon as they can
  2. my gtx 970 isnt a bad card and i play at 1080p and will probably upgrade my monitor too if i upgrade my gpu, but in newer games like rdr2 i have to turn settings down quite a bit to get 60fps
  3. i currently have an evga gtx 970 and im wondering if i should upgrade now or wait for next generation graphics cards. Im thinking of getting an rtx 2070: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2070-gv-n2070wf2-8gd/p/N82E16814932160 and im wondering if i should get this or wait a few months to get an rtx 3000 gpu
  4. alright i hope theyre coming out this year, hopefully within the next few months. but the pandemic kinda messes things up.
  5. im wondering if anybody knows when the next gen nvidia graphics cards will release or if nvidia has released any info on it because i really want to upgrade my gtx 970
  6. what resolution and on what games?
  7. well its the first one that came up on google so i guess it made sense to use but if its bad then i need to know which websites are good.
  8. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1660S-Super-vs-AMD-RX-580/4056vs3923 this shows some info about them both
  9. if you can, you should upgrade to a ryzen 5 3600 it will eliminate your bottleneck, you will need a new board as well tho. it will cost probably 120 dollars for a board and i think 150 for the r5 3600. i think it will be cheaper than upgrading to a better cpu on your current platform.
  10. im currently waiting for next gen nvidia cards to get one for myself but if you need a new card now then a 2080 super is still a good card. but if you can live with your 1660 ti until it comes out then i would wait
  11. i have no idea and im sure nobody else does but i think theyre coming out this year
  12. an rtx 2080 super is still a good card and will be for a while, but i would wait for next generation graphics cards, hopefully theyre coming out this year.
  13. i think theres an issue where the games have to commnicate with windows but its on another drive so its causing issues.
