  1. Hello When playing a more GPU intensive game, my GPU maxes out at 100%, which I know is how it's supposed to be. The issue is, when trying to watch a YouTube video, twitch stream or trying to stream myself, the video will lag, ONLY WHEN TABBED & FOCUSED IN THE GAME. If I am alt+tabbed and the GPU is still at 100%, the video or stream doesn't lag. I didn't used to experience this before (recent fresh W10 install) so I'm not sure what changed. My GPU should be able to handle this. (I only have this issue with GPU based games, GTA ect. But, when playing OW2, more CPU intensive, I don't have this issue) Also, when trying to stream using HVENC, it will lag the stream when tabbed in, but not tabbed out. What I've done: Bios Update, GPU Driver update w/ DDU. Tried hardware accell in chrome on and off. Turned off GPU Scheduling. Specs: 12700K 3090 Ti 32GB Ram pls help
  2. I did. same issue. can I reserve like 10% of my GPU for other tasks? like only let games use 90%?
  3. Issue is when GPU hit's 100% utilization. How can I prevent this?
  4. Yes. But it's not just streaming. Watching a simple youtube video or twitch stream while gaming, it lags.
  5. Hi all, When playing a game, youtube and twitch will lag and I can't for the life of me stream. With my specs I shouldn't be having issues.. Any ideas? When I alt+tab though, the video or stream runs fine but the GPU is still at 100% usage. But when I focus the game again, lags. 12700K 3090 Ti 32GB Ram
  6. My roommate moved into my office and I went to my bedroom. Plugged everything hardwired and now my PC is negotiating to 100mbps and he's on 1k mbps? Modem is a BGW320-500, software 4.23.4 Changing ports doesn't matter. It's like it can only handle 1 1gig connect at a time. Called support and they're sending a new modem. Any ideas?
  7. Hello, I am stumped. Playing a game and my PC hard shutdown. I have disconnected everything except for mobo power and cpu power. Bypass relay makes the click when I hit the power switch. Tried to short it with a screw driver. ASUS RGB mobo logo is lit and changing colors indicating mobo is getting some kind of power. Could a PSU or mobo still be dead even with this showing power? I dont have another PSU to test with but I could run to microcenter and grab one. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas before I bought a new one. 12700k ROG STRIX Z690-A 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB EVGA 1000GT
  8. Changing these settings and res, unfortunately doesn’t work.
  9. Valorant 2022.11.09 - 19.42.17.09.DVR_Trim.mp4 here's a valorant clip. @Motifator @Birblover12
  10. Multiple folks have said on-demand texture streaming makes things worse.. this doesn't apply to valorant. either. No OC on GPU or CPU Both FS and Windowed show the same issue Thermals sit around 50C on CPU and 70C on GPU ( see attached) V-Sync, either one doesn't change it. Power was on balanced, switch to HP. No difference. Yes, DLSS is on. Here it is with V-Sync on. https://youtu.be/iYfsJle0RXw Watch the FPS. @Motifator@Birblover12
  11. I will try this but that doesn't really solve it... I have a 1440p monitor, whats the point if i can't use it.
  12. The issue happens without streaming, this is just the way i captured it. You couldn't really tell by recording with a phone camera. Here are examples with my phone camera and me playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxmp-523_98 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTef0-1zw_M
  13. Hello, I am having an issue where the PC just has these weird stutters. THIS ISSUE IS NOT BECAUSE OF THE STREAMING. THIS HAPPENS OFF STREAM!!!!!! Specs: i7 12700K EVGA FTW3 3090 Ti Corsair H150i ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A 32GB Corsair Vengance Lian Li O11 Evo EVGA 1k PSU Here's an example. https://clips.twitch.tv/MiniatureSlickLorisItsBoshyTime-vpNi4iuK2v4HaXYY… Example 2 (https://clips.twitch.tv/SpinelessIronicLemurFailFish-XB-T9J5Or2BdxitE…) Here are examples with my phone camera and me playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxmp-523_98 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTef0-1zw_M Examples aren't great but you can see the issue. It's like trying to show someone something is wrong and it doesn't do it, lol. I noticed in these clips it drops a solid 20 FPS and then back up but a 20fps drop shouldn't show an issue like this. Valorant does the same thing, so does multiple other games... What I've Done: I followed this reddit thread but it didn't help. https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/scl89u/i912900k_stuttering_possibly_resolved_as_well_as/ Changed RAM ( I used these model numbers CMH32GX4M2D3600C18W & F4-320016D-16GTZR x2 ) Neither of which are on the QVL but I don't think that should really be an issue.) Turned off XMP - Here's another example AFTER turning off XMP: [https://youtube.com/watch?v=j6MMFkgiIJE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6MMFkgiIJE…) Capped FPS to monitor refresh rate Uninstalled iCue (this was an issue with an AMD chip, tried for shits and giggles.) Updated BIOS Enabled MCE to always on Multiple GPU's and multiple different drivers. Installed drivers after using DDU. I am desperate to get this fixed, it's driving me NUTS. I don't have an unlimited wallet. If i did it'd just build a new one and throw these in the bin. Thanks for reading, Jack.
  14. Well, @BookofNeati lied. Thought the issue was fixed. He's an example. https://clips.twitch.tv/MiniatureSlickLorisItsBoshyTime-vpNi4iuK2v4HaXYY Example 2: https://clips.twitch.tv/SpinelessIronicLemurFailFish-XB-T9J5Or2BdxitE I noticed in these clips it drops a solid 20 FPS and then back up but a 20fps drop shouldn't show an issue like this. Valorant does the same thing, so does multiple other games... Changed RAM, Updated BIOS, enabled MCE to always on, Multiple GPU's, Installed drivers after using DDU. Here's another example AFTER turning off XMP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6MMFkgiIJE
  15. You're my hero. Updated bios, chipset and enabled MCE to always on. Game feels great
  16. Hello! All of my games hiccup for like 2 ms and then resume even with high avg FPS and low ping. (single player too) What I've done Replaced ram, tried all 4 slots and slots 2&4. PC will go into a boot loop if I use 1&3 Fresh windows 10 install with all drivers up to date and even using older nvidia drivers PC has had 3 different GPU's all with the same issue. I have installed games on 2 different SSD's, same problem. (SSD's in good health) PC is not overheating. ( see attached ) I have tried using 4 CPU power cables and 8, no difference. I have tried AI tuning on & off. XMP I & II Example 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTef0-1zw_M (Right as I walk into the doorway) Example 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxmp-523_98 (Right after I throw the nade) Not great examples but it's just tiny frame skips that gradually get worse. Specs: 12700K ASUS Z690-A Corsair H150i FTW 3 3090Ti 32GB Corsair Vengence 1000W Gold PSU "1" PNG is temps while using the MW2 benchmark "4" PNG is temps while doing a 3D Mark timespy run, default settings I'm not sure where to go from here tbh. I feel like if this was a CPU, Mobo or PSU issue there would be a much bigger problem Thanks for any and all help.
  17. Bumping this. feel like this might be a ram issue. Ran memtest with no errors tho.
  18. Bios updated, fresh windows download and all drivers, 980 pro ssd, 1gbps internet
  19. Hi all 12700k 32gb Ram 3090ti 1000w psu I am having some random just, stutters. Game is at 4-500 fps and then it just lags for like a millisecond then keeps going. Not sure what the issue is but it's driving me nuts. i feel like this is a PSU issue. Thoughts?
