I found when overclocking my 8700k, running RealBench stresstest for 15min wasd a good indicator of stable voltage before doing a much longer stress test.
    I got;
    4.7 @ 1.2v
    4.8 @ 1.225v
    and currently running 5 @ 1.315v

    HI all,

So recently I build a new machine in a Black InWin 303 case with all 7 Thermaltake RGB fans.
Well my wife loved the look of the RGB and wanted me to redo her old case, NZXT Phantom 410.
So instead of spending another $100+ (Australian) on a new case, I changed cases with her.
She got the Black InWin 303 with RGB fans and I got our 4 year old NZXT Phantom 410.

I forgot to take a before photo so I have added a reference photo.
Even tho I do still like the shape of the 410, i think it looks dated. So I set to work changing that.
While putting all my new build in this case, i removed the 2 hard drive mounting modules. Have left
the upper drive module in for now it will be removed once I have purchased a AIO to go in the case.

Today I completed the first of the large mods, increasing the size of the side window. Even though it didnt
come out perfect when in good lighting it looks good enough you cant see the small mistakes I made.

Mods to come will be remove the optic drive module, and install a 360 AIO, havnt decided on if I want
to do a vertical mounted GPU or not yet. Will also add in som LED strips and RGB fans.
Also deciding on if I want to paint some of the outer accents red or white.

NO intake? intake is from the front, pushing air thru the radiator in to the case.

The radiator does not generate that much hot air to effect anything in side the case. My temps here with avg room temp of 25c, at gaming load playing say PUBG, 61c GPU 55c CPU 8700k at 5ghz.

Here man, this is how all my fans are mounted. I have found this to be the best set up. I have also tried push pull with 3 exhaust fans with radiator in same location and it rendered the same temps. This PC while gaming you can hear the fans but while doing anything else is dead silent.

Depends on the tasks you want to be doing. Wife has a 7 1700x with a 1070 and she fines it amazing but i found when going from 2400 ram to just 3000 the frames jumped up a good amount.

I just changed my cpu thermal paste over from Articsilver5 to thermal grizzly kryonaut. Performance wise definitely preforms better but kryonaut is a total bitch to spread
even with the applicator that comes with it.

I have now changed PCs with my wife, and I set it back to stock for her. But long as you have good air flow in your case you could run 3.8 easy on stock cooler.
If you are able to go higher I would suggest a aftermarket cooler. I like the Cryorig range of coolers, the cooler depends on the case clearance. My Ryzen is in a InWin 303 case and can only fit a 160mm tall cooler so 212 or Cryorig H7 would do the trick.

There is a hand full of videos on youtube on how to overclock, thats what i watched to get all the correct settings for the R5 1600

Thanks man, used 4inch angle grinder but i clamped a straight piece of box aluminum long enough to cover the width of the panel to the panel and used
it as a guide and cut it with a 1mm disc. Cleaned it up with a grinding wheel on the flat side and sanded it. Repainted the panel and glued the PVC sheet in place.
