  1. So... I was watching some r/pettyrevenge youtube video's and somehow spiraled into r/talesfromtechsupport and somehow youtube managed to suggest this old WANshow... Is this youtube's petty revenge or just youtube throwing me deeper into tech-land? In any case it made me nostalgic enough to come back to the forum and post about it lol
  2. A Tech-Quickie (update) on UTP, F/UTP and STP ethernet cables and the differences between Cat5(e), Cat 6, Cat7(a) and Cat8 cables. Inbetween you could link to this video on how to crimp a cable (or make an update on that video aswell or include this info in this Tech-Quickie) Here is the old vid btw:
  3. This may be a weird suggestion, but I would like to see @LinusTech or Luke on the HotOnes Youtube show, and maybe a studio tour on Linus's channel, or maybe even a hardware upgrade... Just trowing it out here
  4. so if anyone missed it: But I think this topic can be closed
  5. the stream crashed and never got back up.... long story short, Linus was talking about Tunnelbear
  6. This is great news for people waiting to get a Google Home or Pixel phone! However, there are always the odd ones out... But this is still amazing news. Google has announced at the DNI summit that Google Assistant will become available for Western Europe in 2018 at the DNI Summit in Amsterdam. This was shown on a slide during the summit that showed planned availability for the Google Assistant in 2018. The Map showed that the support for the assistant as planned for 2018 will be in or coming to: North America Middle America South America Western Europe Russia Saudi Arabia India and more... With this the supported languages for the Google assistant will almost triple from the current 8 supported languages. Tweakers.net heard that the support for the Dutch language will be released in the first quarter of 2018. 7. So sad we can't actually see the typed responses
  8. maybe try contacting the LTT-staff/Linus to ask what bot you should code for... Or create your own bot with all the features from the current chat bot so you can offer it for them to use...
  9. Why even buy a 1 dollar mouse when you know that a good mouse should cost at least 25 dollars....
