  1. Based off what I've read, I think it should work as well. But that's why I asked, because I want to hear from someone who actually has experience with this.
  2. Thanks, but the monitor I mentioned is specifically not certified. For me HDR doesn't really matter since these types of monitors can't reach the brightness required anyways, I was just using it as an example.
  3. I've been thinking of buying a new monitor (I currently have an RTX 2060 Super) and the best one I've come up with is FreeSync only, though it's been listed as "Compatible (Tested)" by https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/nitro-xv272u-kvbmiiprzx. Now I know that you can enable G-Sync on FreeSync monitors, but I'm concerned that there may be issues (possibly the reason this monitor isn't "certified" by Nvidia. Do you guys know if there will be any issues/incompatibilities with this setup, or am I overreacting? I tried googling a bit and I only found a few people posting about not being able to enable HDR or having flickering issues, though I don't know if those have been fixed in driver updates or are issues with their particular monitor. Any insight on this is appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Hey guys, so I currently have a small 250GB SATA SSD that I use for storing games, as well as a 4TB HD. (as well as a small NVMe SSD for Windows boot + a few games) I'm thinking about getting a new SSD, either 1 or 2 TB in size to replace my current SSD and move some of my games from my HD and other SSD over. I'm not sure if I should stick to 1TB, or go for 2TB. I don't really have a budget, but I've more or less limited myself to something under $200, just want to see what's out there. So far I've found this WD Blue 1TB NVMe and these 2TB drives: Kingston 1.94TB SATA and Crucial BX500 2TB SSD. I know NVMe might be a bit over the top, but I do have a second slot in my mobo, and it'd be easier than bothering with cables for SATA. I also don't really see the need for more than 1TB at the moment, really just looking to store Forza Horizon 3 and 4, Halo MCC, Cyberpunk 2077, and maybe Halo Infinite, depending on how that release goes. (and maybe some other smaller games) I've watched LTT's video on TLC and MLC SSDs (the Intel 660p review) and I'm wondering if there's a way to tell if these drives I've found suffer from the same extreme drop-off, as I'll be copying large games to it and I'd like to see it go fast.
  5. Hey guys, so I'm having some weird issues with my new GPU, https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N206SAORUS-8GC#kf Whenever I try to play games, and even sometimes on the desktop or login screen I get BSODs with either nvlddmkm.sys errors or DPC Watchdog Violation. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, to no avail. My old gpu (GTX 1060) works just fine. Any suggestions? I've had to replace this card twice already, once because my PSU blew and again because the gpu fans wouldn't stop running at 100%.

  7. Hey guys, so I just bought this PSU: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16817182314?Item=N82E16817182314 and it's wayyy to loud (at idle or full load, fan speed doesn't change). My PC is right next to me on my desk, and I can't stand loud buzzing noises if I'm just watching youtube videos or whatever. What's a good, quiet 650+W PSU?
