  1. Thanks yeah this was a budget PSU when i didn't have a job, thanks for the advice i just wanted to know if 500W was enough of this power supply unit since it is a cheapish brand
  2. Was wondering if my PSU/computer could run a 1070ti thank you. Specs CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 GPU: AMD R9 280X SSD: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB RAM: HyperX Savage DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB MBD: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H-CF PSU: SilverStone ST50F-ES230 Essential 230V 500W
  3. Sorry, i should've mentioned the games. I play CSGO, OVERWATCH, PUBG, ROCKLEAGUE mainly for cs and ow though.
  4. Heyo I was recently on here trying to figure out what GPU I should get with my current system specs, I think I've decided on the 1060 6gb G1 gaming Gigabyte but, was wondering what I would need to do to future proof my pc to make sure I can invest in a 144hz monitor at 1080p gaming My Current specs are : CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 GPU: AMD R9 280X SSD: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB RAM: HyperX Savage DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB MBD: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H-CF PSU: SilverStone ST50F-ES230 Essential 230V 500W I was also thinking I should get more DDR3 RAM but its clocked at 1866mhz and my current ram is 1600mhz also my MBD says "Support for DDR3 1600/1333mhz memory modules so, would that affect my computer in a bad way if i chose to get 2x4gb of HyperX Savage DDR3 clocked at 1866mhz? Thank you.
  5. Or Should i just get a 1060 6gb and 2x4gb ram and keep the everything else :? hm
  6. So should I get an i7-4770 NEW $300 and then maybe save up to get 1060 6gb or 1070? and maybe consider down the line more ddr3 ram?
  7. Should i just get a 144hz monitor instead of upgrading for now? i'm thinking a CPU would have the best benifit for value, but if i get a new cpu i would need a new motherboard and ram, it's pretty hard to get the old i7 series from haswell, thank you for the advice though.
  8. Yes sorry i accidentally removed it is a SSD Samsung EVO 750 250gb
  9. Heyo first post to this site so I've been trying to figure out which is the best upgrade for me right now i'm thinking just a better gpu but i game at 1080p gaming at 60hz low settings for csgo/overwatch/pubg for more fps, but i'm looking to get even more fps even with the low settings but i want to be able to play games like Monster hunter World when it comes out and NieR and Witcher 3 my budget is around 1 grand and I'm thinking of just getting a gtx 1080 but the price in Australia right now is around $900-$980 i would either get a new gpu or get a new cpu/motherboard/ram my current specs are CPU Intel Core i5-4670 GPU AMD R9 280X HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB RAM HyperX Savage DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB MBD Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H-CF SSD Samsung 750 EVO 250GB PSU SilverStone ST50F-ES230 Essential 230V 500W PSU 80+ Thanking you ^
