Snaggletooth's Achievements

  1. Metallica never was my fav band, but I respect them alot, and I'm sure that Master Of Puppets is one of the best recorded albums ever. I have cool neighbours. They are OK with Motorhead, The Rolling Stones, Metallica and other heavier stuff, even when played at 7 AM. By cool I mean they don't want my lanlord's phone number.
  2. My favorite thing about Linus' work is that Mythbusters-like approach to what he shows.
  3. AKA Project Arkham. Following Build Plan Thread Recommendations: 1) I can spend about 250$-350$ per month. I live in Poland. 2) I want powerful gaming rig that might be used for video editing in the future. Doom, Batman Arkham, that kind of stuff. 3) One monitor. Big one. 4) I have new keyboard, recently bought, and Win10, bought as well. 5) I'm upgrading because my current rig is getting old: 8gb DDR3, AMD Phenom II X4 965. I bought two Asus' Geforce GTX 1060 Expedition 6gb a while ago (before that I had Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 1gb)> I'm planning to play with crypto mining in the future, so those two will have some more powerful company. I call it Project Arkham because I bought Thermaltake Core P5 Green Edition (love form the first sight) and I'm planning to do liquid cooling with purple colour and vinyl sticker with The Joker on plexi. What I have for now: - Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W - G.SKILL 16GB 3200MHz Ripjaws V Black CL16 (2x8GB) x2 - Patriot 256GB SSD Spark What I want: - Asus ROG Zenith Extreme - Threadripper gen 1 - two 1TB SSDs - liquid cooling loop - MAAAAAAAAAAYYBEEEEEE some graphics and RAM OC What dou You think of this build, good tech people around the world? I want it mostly plug&play touch&go. Software tinkering makes me bored, I like to tinker with hardware though.
  4. "50 hrs in imovie don't judge" I lol'd. This is the best hardware porn channel ever. This is really shitty business practices. I remember how badly I wanted Macbook Air... until I found out I could kill the screen with barerly a knock.
  5. What can I say. I'm smart but simple man who enjoys simple classic stuff. Cheers!
  6. This month, I've spent two paychecks... Keyboard, 32 gb DDR4 RAM, SSD (already mounted) and PSU. My cousin asked me to try recover data from old HDD (like, REALLY old, with 40 pin connector) and since I have my chassis open since Wednesday... PS when I thought I can't fit SSD in this chassis... like a boss.
  7. In last december I hurt my leg at work. After it got healed I got lazy and stopped going to gym for two months. In the meantime I got bored with my usual Spotify playlists (sorry, Lemmy, I still love You, man!) and I needed something to make ten minutes warm up on treatmill less exhausting (yes, ten to twelve minutes on average 11km/h is my kind of warm up; I chill harder than you party, cheers! ;D). And I thought that there are a few bands that helped to shape my music taste and preferences that I haven't listened for years. Disturbed is not only perfect for treadmill and pumping iron, but also still great to listen and enjoy. Stephen King once said that books are the best and the only ones time machines available to us. For me, it is also music. Ahh, memories! <3
  8. UNLESS YOU CAN READ, OF COURSE These comments are my favorite part of all the videos. Except the useful and interesting conent, of course.
  9. Iced Earth is effing awesome band in general (not to mention one of the first that got me into heavy metal and rock) but with Matt Barlow as singer it was BEAST. I think I've listened to this EP last time around the date it got released, nearly ten years ago...
  10. I'm pretty sure at least two persons have it at my workplace. It's still solid smartphone.
  11. Well, I'm a bookworm and stories addict. Book, movie, game, tv drama... Doesn't matter. Good quality story is what makes me happy.
