Got it. I thought you just want to straight up just want to build a runescape machine on igpu only.

The Steel Legend lineup of LGA1700 motherboard by Asrock pretty much have everything you want and need from the Z series chips in connectivity and features, and it comes with decent VRM. The Livemixer lineup also comes out pretty solid but it is by all accounts insanely ugly and esoteric. If you want asus, the Prime series is very good this generation so take advantage of that while you can.

For the best board however, to me its 3 way tie between the MSI Edge Wifi, Taichi by Asrock, and Strix by Asus. Pick whichever fits your aesthetic. EVGA Kingpin is also very cool but its featureset is overkill for stock op.

My bias on displays is to error on the side of cheaper. The C1 is likely fine, assuming you can light control your room. If you can't you should probably be looking at something like a QN90a, provided your main use case is movies.

Sound bars - while they've gotten better in recent years, I'd still suggest a handful of bookshelf speakers and potentially a subwoofer over going with a sound bar.

If you're open to a 2.1 set up
pair of Emotiva B1+ ($250) and a used SVS PB1000 ($300ish if you can find it, or pretty much ANYTHING SVS, Rel, Hsu, etc.) will work pretty well. They can be run off of an Aiyima A07. You'll need a few feet of speaker wire and a coax (RCA pinout) cable for the sub.
If you want proper surround sound, get 2 more speakers for left/right and a proper AV receiver (used units can be had for as low as $100-150ish)

Awesome ,thank you for your input currently have the noctha air cooler. Prior I had a h60i AIO that finally lost its water inside or something after about 7 years lol. I know I don’t NEED 64 gb of ram. But the income is expandable and I don’t wanna be the richest guy in the cemetery lol. Thank you for posting the video too 🙂

There's no real difference between hubs. You want powered one, but beyond that, its just how many ports, how are they located, how the general looks are and so on.

Hey, yes, we're still going ahead, my PIL bought the property last week, and have engaged a builder, so the project is back on and I'm putting together build list currently.
I'll update this thread as we go, might take some time, COVID-19 and all that, but next post will be an image of draft equipment and rough layout.

everything looks like it would be pretty good, but ijust bought a 3800x for $339 so i'm not sure where you got your prices , here is the link for that ( https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3800X-16-Thread-Processor/dp/B07SXMZLPJ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=3800x&qid=1581630830&sr=8-1 ) good luck in your build, you didn't specify how much ram but if it is 8gb or higher you should be good

    Set up NAS with iSCSI.
I tried it at home, and it works quite well.

    For my setup:
NAS server: 3x3TB HDD with 256GB SSD used as cache running on Linux. Used bcache to setup disk caching, and SCST to setup iSCSI server.
    Client: Windows 10

While some will say doing this over 1Gbit LAN will be slow, or slower than simple local HDD - it's not. Especially because of SSD cache on server side. Games still load somewhat randomly from data files, so running this way over 1Gbit connection is still fast enough. Not as fast as local SSD, but this was definitely faster than local HDD.

I did though upgrade this later by using Fibe Channel (4Gbit - cheap adapters) connection between those two server   Why not.. if I can

Just started back after losing my last account. Even had e-mails from Jagex saying the e-mail was being changed but I thought it was spam/phishing.

They won't accept any of my recovery attempts. It's sad.

If you want to keep a separate modem/router then something like this would work well:
    Arris SB6183:
    https://smile.amazon.com/ARRIS-Surfboard-SB6183-Package-Black/dp/B01ITIXYR0

If you think you might upgrade to their gigabit plan in the future then I would go ahead and go in on a DOCSIS 3.1 modem instead like this:
    https://smile.amazon.com/Next-Generation-ARRIS-SURFboard-SB8200-DOCSIS/dp/B07DY16W2Z

For the router it would depending how much wireless coverage you'll need and your budget. I would suggest perhaps something like:
    https://smile.amazon.com/Asus-Rt-Ac66u-Router-Delivers-802-11Ac/dp/B01N08LPPP
    or
