  1. The only thing I currently would use a sidecar for would be for Discord, but I use my iPad Pro for that. When editing photos, I only have one window I need to pay attention to at a time. But, that being said, is there an ultrawide you would recommend? I know I will need an IPS display, the higher refresh rate the better (since I will be gaming on it), and 4K.
  2. Hey all. In a bit of a pickle here. I currently have this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Gaming-S2716DGR-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B0149QBOF0 I am wanting to do one of two things. Either get another one of these monitors to have a dual screen setup, or to get a decent sized ultrawide. I mainly use the monitor for photo editing and gaming, photo editing taking priority. What's everyone's opinion on what would be the best route?
  3. Yes, this is exactly what I plan on running. I have found a chart that will be extremely helpful when I hook everything up. I have attached it.
  4. So I am building my first pc and I need some help configuring all the fan connections and RGB connections. So I plan on running 5 or 6 Corsair LL120 fans and 4 RGB light strips, also from Corsair. My motherboard is the Asus Prime Z370-A. so with all that info, will I need to purchase a Commander PRO from Corsair in order to power everything and keep everything synced together?
  5. Hey guys. I am looking to run the following in my case: (6) LL120 Corsair Fans and (4) of their RGB Strips. If there is any of you that run this setup, or close to it, which of their connection devices (Commander PRO, Lighting Node PRO, etc.) do I need to purchase so I can control all of them at the same time to make them all synced together?
  6. But the Define C does not have a tempered glass side panel.
  7. I plan on having a good amount of RBG. Why do you suggest the Meshify C if I was going to have RBG?
  8. I am completely torn between these two cases. I love the looks of both of them and they both seems to offer basically the same thing, unless there is something I am missing. Those of you that have used both or one of the cases, please post your reviews/opinions on them below. This is the only thing holding me back from starting my build. Thanks!
  9. Hey guys. I have made some changes to my previously posted build and would like any final tips/suggestions. The only issue I have come across is finding a good PSU to fit in the case. The current PSU I have picked out is 5mm too long to fit without taking out the 3.5" drive cages. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 10. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GXOWUDQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Dropped a follow also! Gotta make the most of Black Friday. I'm really hyped for this build.
  11. Very true! Even saving $100 would help a lot lol. Then I'll go ahead and get the gpu (already got it lol). I'll wait until the Black Friday ads come out and if there isn't anything, oh well I guess.
  12. Alright, I'll keep an eye out and look on the pcpp price history and compare to current prices. If it seems to be the lowest, or close to the lowest it's been for a while, I'll probably pick it up. Is there any of the parts that rarely go on sale, even Black Friday?
  13. So if something is on sale for $20 or more off, probably pick it up? Cause who knows when it will be lower than the current sale price.
  14. Sweet! Just what I wanted to hear lol. So should I wait to buy everything until Black Friday/Cyber Monday, or is there that much of a price difference?
  15. Okay, sounds good. This PC will be mainly used for gaming, the only other thing it will be used for is surfing the web and watching Youtube. That's it. I will add that cooler to my build. Are those fans interchangeable, so if I wanted to, I could change them out for RGB fans?
  16. I gotcha. Yeah, I'm not trying to go too overkill with this. I can upgrade as I go also.
  17. What is the reasoning behind switching the chip? I am also staying away from used items for this build. I just can't trust anyone anymore. Too many people trying to scam.
  18. Ok, awesome! I am new to this, so can you explain the advantage to having a ssd to me? How is this for a cpu cooler? https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-HYDRO-Liquid-Cooler-Radiator/dp/B009VV56TY/ref=sr_1_9?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1541456556&sr=1-9&keywords=cpu+cooler I will remove the led fans from my build for now and see what my pricing is at. I do not know much about AMD, so I'd like to stick with Intel.
  19. Hey guys. So this is going to be my first pc build ever, and I would really appreciate some feedback on what I have chosen. Also, one thing to keep in mind when reviewing this list is that I am going for a pure white build with blue RGB. My budget is about $1,500. Yes, I know the build is a little above that, but I'd like to stay around $1,500. Here is what I've got so far: CPU: Intel i5-8600K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor $259.99 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 Black Edition 42.0 CFM CPU Cooler $34.99 Motherboard: Asus - Prime Z370-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $159.99 Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $144.99 Storage: Western Digital - Blue 4TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive $99.00 Video Card: MSI- GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Video Card (Armor) $499.00 Case: Corsair - Carbide Series 275R (White w/Tempered Glass) ATX Mid Tower Case $79.99 Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $89.99 Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $100.00 Case Fan: Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.2 CFM 120mm Fans $109.49 Extras: NZXT Internal USB Hub Controller, Black $19.45 Corsair CL-8930002 RGB LED Lighting Pro Expansion Kit $39.99 Total: $1636.87 before tax P.S. I currently do not have a gaming monitor, but I am going to have one by the end of the year, so that will not be calculated within this build price.
  20. What do you guys use for a mouse? My budget is up to $100. I've been looking at the Razer DeathAdder Elite.
  21. Would I still be able to run all those games smoothly at high settings though?
  22. Building a PC soon and just trying to figure out the best setup for the games I want to play. Mainly CSGO, GTA V, Spintires.
  23. No, they don't have to be lol. I was just looking for a good looking build, I can always buy regular fans now and then RGB stuff later down the line.
