  1. So I've been using my setup in the last few months which is MSI X370 GAMING PLUS R7 1700 @ 3.7GHZ 16GB ADATA XPG 750W 80+ GOLD GTX 1050TI Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 And I can't seem to overclock on 4ghz or more because the PC won't post. I managed to get it to 3.8 once but on the next restart it didn't post so I was wondering if someone could help me cuz I've heard that people managed to get 4.2 from the same chip Thanks ?
  2. So I've been rocking this in the past few months and its awesome although I'm still upgrading:

    MSI X370 GAMING PLUS

    RYZEN 7 1700 @ 3.9Ghz

    16gb ADATA XPG DDR4

Nvidia GeForce GTX1050TI (To be dual fury x soon)

    Seagate 2TB 7200RPM

    Seagate 750GB 7200RPM

    PSU 750W 80+gold

We get around 1450 point at cinebench and totally destroyed the 8700k which is like 2 times the price of mine

  4. no help needed i did this a thousand times was just afraid of losing my main hdd
  5. Yeah i do take my risks but my question is how to install windows on the second hdd is there any sort of software i can use for the job?
  6. Ok so i just got my new pc and i have the idea of using the old one which was a workstation for a home nas. The only problem is the fact that it can't seem to post properly. So i had the idea of not fixing it but to install windows on an hdd on my good pc and then put it in the old one and using it with some kind of ssh. My question is how should the installation process go. Thanks anyway.
  7. Ok so i found out that it's 99% sure that my motherboard has the 5000x intel chipset which supports both intel xeon 5150 and intel xeon X5450 which means i am gonna get a massive upgrade. Thank you guys for everything and have a good one! BTW the site that i saw the info: http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Intel_(chipsets)/5000X.html
  8. They've got the same socket but i dont know the chipset of my motherboard. It looks like HP are keeping it for themself.
  9. So guys i have an hp workstation xw6400 with two xeon 5150s. The thing is they're slow and i am building a new computer but i wanna save this one from the bin. So i wanna place 2 Intel Xeon X5450s on their place. The question is will they work? No hate please!!!
