This is relevant. This is how 99% of my discussions with people go:

Me: It's a square hole, the round peg is the wrong shape.

Them: Oh, then put the triangle in.

Me: That's also the wrong shape.

Them: No, I'm sure it's a triangle.

Me: Then fit it in yourself.

Them: I don't need to. I know I'm right. Theoretically it should fit. So it will.

Me: You need a square peg.

Them: No, you go put the triangle peg in.

Me: *Goes to get square peg, gets the job done*

Them: See I told you this square peg was needed for the job.

I literally have had these conversations with bosses etc. I just don't get peoples comprehensive ability. Like, I can show them things, put it in their hands and they go "wow, how did you do that" and I'm like... I get my left hand, and right hand, and press them together and the book cover closes. "Wow, how did you know how to do that" style inability to navigate life and the world.

Oh, but those people 100% have a million friends, no arguments and never any trouble in life. I wish I had social skills instead of the ability not to fall down the stairs walking over my own feed and being able to navigate reality.
