ehh. I'd say you're fine with what you got. There would be no point in upgrading until further down the line in my opinion.

Depending on what you do it can also be a downgrade in many ways like for streaming or work for example. 
The difference in performance is not that big anyways.

The 9100f costs $80.47 brand new, and the GIGABYTE B365M DS3H costs $73.99 brand new, that's a total of $154.46. How in the world did you come up with $200-$300 for these components, used no less?

You probably can run the display, but if you plan on heany gaming, on that gpu with that display won't run quite as some would expect. What you're using it for should be fine, as long as it's not a PC melter like Crysis 3
