  2. So, atm I just bought a r9 290 with bf4 bundle. And i'm already bored of it... So atm i really don't know what to play I like mmorpgs, like wow. I like games like skyrim, but i like fps games too and graphics is quite important to me I like a game with a good and a thick story like LA Noire, The walking dead game, and such. I like strategy and puzzle games like LA Noire. Underneath is a list on games in the future that will released and some games that already exist that i like or am interested in I have none of these games but might get them in the future when they are released. So if you have any suggestions please leave them down below Already played: bf4, all of ac series, mass effect, wow, lol, the walking dead, batman origins, skyrim, and others List: Watch dogs witcher 3 kingdome come rust Day-z ESO shadow of mordor fallout 4 bioshock infinite thief gta 5 pc Dark souls 2
  3. Yes, a clean install of windows and a clean install of my drivers as well.
  4. not the graphics card no, the cpu has been but i put it back to stock just to see if it was it but it still froze..
  5. So as the title says i have some issues with my r9 290, it crashes, freezes and i have gotten 1 BSOD. And no it's not a driver issues. I just got my card to actually work with the right drivers and that is already fixed (posted about it before) My temps are ok goes above 80 when i play but never over 90 (put the fan speed on 55%) same goes for my cpu doesn't go over 65c. It can happen anytime, no matter what i do, just browsing the web, idle on the desktop, playing games, etc. PC specs. Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit (installed this Saturday) cpu: intel i5 2500k 4.6 oc mobo: asus p8z68-v pro/gen3 ram: 16 gb 1600mhz corsair vengeance Psu: xfx pro series 850w storage: main: kingston v300 120gb ssd, HHD: WD black 1tb 7200rpm cooling: noctua nh-u14s (cpu) reference cooler on gpu gpu: gigabyte R9 290 4gb (memory is hynix)
  6. yes and yes. I re installed my drives yesterday using DDU (display driver uninstaller) because my card didn't work well at all, so it's not a driver problem.
  7. Hi, as the title says windows freezes for me when i watch videos online such as youtube, twitch, facebook videos etc. I just got a new graphics card (gigabyte r9 290) and i think that is the problem but i don't know why and how to solve it. (pc specs down below) PC specs. 8. I fu**ing fixed it! Needed to go into safe mode and use DDU (display driver uninstaller) and install the latest drivers! I did that with drive sweeper but it didn't work apparently... But any way, Have now 65-90 fps bf4 and scored 2343 in valley benchmark with 56 in avg fps! Sp glad that i don't need to do a refund!! So happy right now!
  9. I'm uploading a video atm to youtube. I'll link it here so you and the others can watch it instead and see it for yourselves.
  10. I spoke to my friend today and he said that i could test my card in his system. Will probably do that next week or during the weekend.
  11. Yes i did. I put the preset to Extreme HD and i got horrible results. Score=539 avg fps=12.9 min fps=8 max fps= 24.4 Re installed my drives again. Nothing new, same results.
  12. furmark is also running horribly. I only get 17 fps running 1080 8x msaa, but when i had my old gtx 770 i got over 60 fps
