Hello everyone ! So I'm getting a new PC soon and I was wondering if anything will happen to it of I put it directly on the carpet next to my desk. I know that this is a stupid question, but I am asking just to be sure. I saw some videos on YouTube and I think that nothing will happen if it stays on the carpet. The PC case I have is the Coolermaster Mastercase H500. I know there is some tolerance between the bottom of the case and the floor, because It has small legs, but is it good enough for airflow for the PSU? Will I eventually have trouble with static electricity? Tell me what you guys think about this. I wanted to put something to raise the case, or a plank so its not directly on top of the carpet. Do you know what I can use for that ?

I want to buy a new phone and I was looking at the Huawei Y6 (2019), but after the ban I am not sure if I will be able to use google services later so I am asking here if anyone knows if they will still work on this phone after I buy it. P.S. Sorry for my bad English

Can you guys recommend some good atx cases that look kinda like the cougar panzer?

I want to buy an InWin 100 white atx case for my future upgrade from a GTX 1060 to a RTX2060 and I now have a Segotep Legend C2 which is a closed case with a small cap in the front of the case for air intake and an opening in the top for hot air to come out. 2 fans on the front, one in the back and 2 on the top. Should I buy the Inwin or should I look for a different ATX case?

I have made a topic about what GPU to get: 1070ti or 2060 and most people said that It would be better to get the 2060
-
Do you think they will make Ti versions of the 2070?
-
What is navi ?
-
Yeah but it has the new architecture and beter driver support in the future, so I might go with it. I still have sime time before I buy the new graphics card and I might even sell my old GtX1060 to get some more money for a 2070.
-
Guess you guys are right after all. I will go for the 2060from gygabite and settle down for a at least 2 years
-
Yes they are but what about futureproffing

I am talking about the 1070Ti I see it has more memory and a bigger bus so Im not sure what to buy
-
What do you mean its better performing? You mean in benchmarks?
-
I am thinking about upgrading and Im not sure what to get. On one side I know that the Gtx 1070 will be used more in time because of more memory. Oncthe other hand the 2060 has the new architecture. What would you guys recommend? If I buy any model it will be from Gigabyte

Is there a way for me to check my PSU health or at least test it...

Everyday when I go to work I turn my pc off and flip the switch on the coupler and I disconnect it from the wall. I do this becase I am afraid of lightning storms when I am away. After I come back from work I always plug the coupler into the wall and then I flip the switch back on which makea my PC ready to use as power is entering the Motherboard. I can see from the LED lights on it. My question is this: Is this bad for the PSU or for the motherboard in general or is it safe to do regularly? I am asking becase I dont know much about power supplies and I have a 750W PSU

I am still using 399.07 and have been using it since ive got my GTX 1060 6GB. Now I want to play Metro: Exodus and I see that the game freezes when I play it and I have a Ryzen 2600x 16GB ram. So I was wondering if it really is true that the new drivers actually reduce performance of the newer cards. Should I upgrade to the new 430.?? driver ? Let me see what you guys think !

I want to upgrade my GTX 1060 6GB to a 1070ti, but I have a ryzen 2600x and I was wondering if it bottlenecks the GPU.
-
Which model was it ?
-
Still having hard time finding such GPUs and the Strix one is active all the time too.

Which GTX 1070's have silent mode that turns off the fans when the GPU is within a certain temperature ? I was looking at some 1070 GPUs and most of them don't have a silent mode like most 1060's and their fans run permanently which is a thing I dont quite like.
