  1. A baller system, that feels like a baller system for the next 5+ years if at all possible. Going half assed, when i don't have to, doesn't seem worth the investment of time, energy or research let alone the cost. Expensive seems to come with that outlook.
  2. Thanks for pointing out the case originally i grabbed the 750D but bumped it up when looking into water cooling. Taking the case back to the 750D. Not dead set on the case - watching a review of the Fractal Define R4 now. The memory I've swapped out for Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Swapped out the power supply =) Removed the sound card, ill see how sound plays from the board and get it then if required. I took a look at the suggested mice, personally i prefer a mouse that supports the fingers that aren't on the buttons. And yes the keyboard, i saw the price and was I MUST HAVE IT =) its $165 when added to the cart, someone must have fucked it up. Actually seriously asking as i cant see it from looking too long =)
  4. Fast car? - cant drive it to the full potential, unless i live in Germany =) Fast computer - Zoooom =D Been holding off on buying a ultimate pc... encase of that important stuff for a while... hasn't come up yet. I'll take a look at the memory, and the sound system i already have the headset is so i don't keep my family up at night.
  5. Hi All, I have posted this on a few other forums, below is what I've put together from various suggestions and my own selections, enjoy =) After some advice on what i have so far - possible replacements and such. What ill need to do when i get the parts - Out of case burn, stress testing that sort of thing & how to do it, as I've never done so before - I have looked at some online videos but never hurts to ask. After you read the parts list, you'll think I'm insane, stupid or awesome... to clarify, yes, yes i am. 1. Budget & Location A lot... 2. Aim Last for the next 5+ years with appropriate minor upgrades & maintenance. Heavy gaming, Virtual machine hosting (training), amateur video recording/editing, random programming, heavy multi-tasking. 3. Monitors Feel free to recommend others however, image quality over response time please =) 3x Monitors - ASUS PB278Q 27" 1440p Nvidia Surround Gaming General video viewing/editing Monitor Real estate 4. Peripherals Open to suggestions. Corsair Vengeance 2100 Wireless 7.1 Corsair Vengeance K70 Saitek Cyborg R.A.T 9 5. Why are you upgrading? I enjoy it. I like working on/for the best. My current laptop is chugging behind trying to run everything I do I don't want to buy another PC for several+ years Finally, I spend much of my time in front of a computer. Storage will be configured as 3 lots of RAID 0... i think the motherboard can handle that =) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i7-4930K 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor ($675.00 @ PCCaseGear) Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition EATX LGA2011 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($179.00 @ PCCaseGear) Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($179.00 @ PCCaseGear) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($385.00 @ CPL Online) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($385.00 @ CPL Online) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($99.00 @ PCCaseGear) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($99.00 @ PCCaseGear) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($139.00 @ CPL Online) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($139.00 @ CPL Online) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($849.00 @ Mwave Australia) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($849.00 @ Mwave Australia) Sound Card: Asus Xonar Phoebus 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card ($209.00 @ PCCaseGear) Case: Corsair 900D ATX Full Tower Case ($439.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan ($28.00 @ CPL Online) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 PWM 82.5 CFM 140mm Fan ($29.00 @ PCCaseGear) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 PWM 82.5 CFM 140mm Fan ($29.00 @ PCCaseGear) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 PWM 82.5 CFM 140mm Fan ($29.00 @ PCCaseGear) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 PWM 82.5 CFM 140mm Fan ($29.00 @ PCCaseGear) Power Supply: Corsair 1200W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($439.00 @ PCCaseGear) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer Monitor: Asus PB278Q 27.0" Monitor ($595.00 @ CPL Online) Monitor: Asus PB278Q 27.0" Monitor ($595.00 @ CPL Online) Monitor: Asus PB278Q 27.0" Monitor ($595.00 @ CPL Online) Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 Wired Gaming Keyboard ($165.00 @ CPL Online) Mouse: Mad Catz R.A.T. 9 Wireless Laser Mouse Headphones: Corsair Vengeance 2100 7.1 Channel Headset ($165.00 @ CPL Online) Total: $7491.00 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) I have no experience in that area How do i afford this? I live with my parents, have few expenses and no debts. Work my ass off, invest wisely, and save like a beast. Constructive advice greatly appreciated, amusing criticism laughed at =D I look forward to seeing what you guys think =) All and only the best, Kinza
