Imagine paying someone other than your ISP, for the privilege of playing online games, when servers can/are just be hosted locally without relying on their dedicated servers (which many games do, too!)
 
That's the only thing I "look down" upon as far as consoles go... And it's not even the console gamer's fault. So not really looking down on them. I'm just sad for them.

Needing a PS plus subscription is honestly the only thing that would stop me moving to console, to me it's just such an unnecessary thing

Pretty much, also the fact that I'm starting to prefer controller over KB/M, I can plug a console into my TV easier than a PC, I only have to upgrade a console each generation (tho I know I don't need to upgrade my PC parts often either).
Also Playstation exclusive games are really damn good and generally seem to be much better than PC exclusives.

About 2 months ago I found out that the reason my game was crashing was because of one of my RAM sticks, still don't know why but after testing my sticks I found one of them would crash most games, after removing the dodgey stick my CoD ran completely fine albeit with significantly worse performance.
I also have Corsair Vengeance so I guess that's one thing you could try.

Needing to build a computer that does rendering and data analysis (I am not a gamer - yet), but not having $10k in my pocket I found that your video on a Ultimate workstation was perfect. For $5,500 I built an AMD 2950X, ASUS Zenith Extreme, 128GB Ripjaws V DDR4 3000, Zotac 2080Ti Amp, 3 - 970 Evo 500MB M.2, 2 - Seagate Ironwolf 2TB HDD, LG 12x Blu-Ray, Cool Master ML360 in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro tower. Without your various videos and instructions I would not have half the machine at that price. Good job and thank you!

Probaly not, i'm pretty sure the actual PS4 OS is installed on an SOC so you can't install on different drives.
 
I might be wrong since I don't own any high-end consoles but i'm pretty sure it's the same with the Xbox Ones and the Wii U.

- consoles can't run old games
- you have to pay a subscription to be able to play online
- games on consoles are generally more expensive
- you can't really use kb+mouse on console
- you gotta shell out 50 bucks for an extra controller if you want your little brother to play with you, whereas on PC you can literally get two 3rd party controllers for the price of a single PS4 controller
- you can't upgrade console
- a whole bunch of genres such as RTS, CRPG, MOBA, MMORPG, etc. are unavailable on consoles
- you can pirate games on PC to get them for free (but none of us would ever do that, of course)
- PC offers a whole bunch of other entertainment such as watching movies, TV series, porn, etc.
- PC can be used for productivity
 
Unless you really love 3rd person cutscene simulators like Uncharted, Last of Us, and God of War, or you're really into FIFA, PES, Gran Turismo, and others sports games, I don't really see what consoles offer that PC doesn't.
 
The way I see it, a PS4 ends up being more expensive in the long run than a decent PC due to more expensive games & the ridiculous online play subscription.
