  2. I hope this can withstand the TDP of the 8350. I'm planning to buy this board. I saw this on newegg for USD 90. It's just sad that it's still not available in our country. No. The AM3+ is not a dead platform. The 970/990 chipset is just far too outdated. AMD really needs to release something new to the market.
