  1. in my swap to Firefox and ditching chrome i have noticed something very very odd that when i put a video to full screen the video actually screen tears now this should not happen as my monitor is a gsync monitor that is built so that doesn't happen so i go and do the screen tearing test with gysnc on in chrome and what do you know there inst any screen tearing what so ever so i play around with the about:config for Firefox cause screen tearing seems to be a common issue for the browser and try to fix it in there turning off hardware acceleration and such then i decided fuck it maybe its my gysnc still makes absolutely no sense to me but it worked i no longer have any screen tearing now in full screen and another odd thing is that when i turned it off everything feels more fluid when i move my cursor and such idk whats going on with my monitor Acer is know for using shit panels.

I've had the same problem randomly appear when I enabled the G-Sync compatibility mode for my monitor and disabling hardware acceleration fixed it for me.

I can't recreate it anymore so, whatever it was, it seems to be fixed now. Maybe try updating your drivers?

If you are not against using other search engines, DuckDuckGo has native dark themes but if you can't be bothered, there are extensions out there that can make the Google homepage dark. Or you could just use Firefox's own homepage and apply a dark theme and add a search bar there.
