@Mista G Morgan MLGman is on point. If you want a performance upgrade, I would get the 2080 or the new Radeon VII that is about to launch on Feburary 7.

Lisa Su has already commented in a PCWorld interview done after the keynote that AMD is already looking into raytracing tech in their GPU's. However, at this point in time RTX and DLSS are nothing but gimmicks designed to sell cards. It's people like you that keep the GPU market where it's at. Let me explain:

    1) People complain that AMD doesn't have a high end GPU

    2) AMD releases a high end GPU

    3) People go back to complaining that AMD doesn't have a high end GPU

    4) People complain that AMD isn't pushing NVIDIA prices lower so that they can purchase cheaper NVIDIA cards, hence repeating the cycle again.

I would personally go with the Corsair HS70 headset. I've had great success with it's wired brother, the HS50. It is an extremely comfortable headset to wear, the mic isn't too bad, and most importantly (to me anyways), these cans are discreet with their branding which actually allows me to use these as a regular pair of headphones on the go. Just my 2 cents of course.

What kind of baloney are you trying to spin here besides pure fanboyism? People said the exact same thing in 2016, and look at where we are now. No, AMD is definitely not going under, and saying otherwise is just pure wishfulness.

For ease of transport I would go for the Meshify / Define C as they are both quite compact ATX cases that will take up less room than a Define R6. You would really only need a Define R6 if you have a copious amount of hard drives or plan on going full custom loop. Since you have not expressed interest or intent in either the Meshify C seems perfect for your situation. The only problem you may incur is if your graphics card is too long. What GPU are you going to be stuffing in this box?

I don't know if you are being serious or not Steve, but you appear to have fallen for an obviously faked photo hook, line, and sinker. I know you may be impatient to upgrade your GPU, but you must learn that product releases are controlled by external forces.

I am going to call that image fake, as it really isn't too hard to edit the image of a GTX 1080 and change it to an "1180". That, and NVIDIA's CEO was literally just put on record as saying that the next generation of gaming GPU's from NVIDIA wouldn't be coming out "for some time now". Given the difference between some random internet shop image which could have been faked, versus the CEO of NVIDIA, I'll take the CEO's word first sorry mate.

I'm going to side with what @Jrock is saying: Minecraft offers the experience you want, if you tweak it a little (which is quite easy to do considering the VAST mod base that game has). Should you want to stick a more vanilla experience, you can just set your gamemode to Easy or Peaceful and play in Creative mode. Tons of options honestly.

Minecraft with mods. There's many mods that can allow it to have different biomes, new worlds (Like the end etc).

What? Dude, I think you need to get your eyes checked out. SATA SSD's perform in the realm of 14-20x faster than your tranditional hard drive, depending on the make and model of the drive. I think I am in the majority by stating that SSD's really do provide a nice boost to your system and are a really decent upgrade to have. On your point of NVME, yes, there are great diminishing returns unless you are a serious workstation user, where you might actually see a difference. Stating that there is little to no difference between a 5400RPM hard drive and a SATA SSD is just wrong, plain and simple.

With 1st gen Ryzen, even with BIOS updates, memory compatibility is still kind of hit or miss. There shouldn't be problems with the memory you have selected, but you never know.

If you want to do a custom loop, the Fractal Design R series is almost always the go to for easy custom loop installation. The R6 is the most recent revision of this case design, and it's awesome. Gamers Nexus did a review on the View 71 and View 37 if you're interested.

No, absolutely not. Go for a decent power supply like the Corsair TXM 650w, or the Cooler Master Masterwatt 650w. The G1 is an outdated, group regulated unit that is frankly crap.

No offense, but the Krait Gaming is pretty terrible. The ABSOLUTE lowest I would go for X370 is $150, as most any option lower (in the X370 range), tends to be very subpar (you're paying for the SLI compatability and name at that point). The ASRock Gaming X and ASUS X370 Pro are pretty decent X370 options, with the AB350 Gaming K4 and ASUS Strix B350 rounding out the decent B350 boards. Expect updates for these boards to the new 400 series chipset in April.
