Zajgu got a reaction from Clabisanass in Gaming laptop or Gaming desktop?
Since you didn't mention your budget I'm just going to assume you're looking in the 1000-2000 dollar area. If you'd like a good laptop that could run majority of AAA games and very portable have a look at the Asus UX550VE (There are countless other laptops capable of what you want but there are lots of drawbacks, I've personally found this the best). But honestly considering you're in college I would rather just get a good laptop rather than spend your money on a desktop and a laptop. But note that the gaming experience wouldn't be as enjoyable on a laptop. (Remember you've gotta purchase a keyboard and monitor if you'd like a desktop)

I don't think there a reasonable way to stream your nintendo switch to your pc honestly, sorry I couldn't help.

They're basically saying that if you go higher than 2666mhz ram speeds, you can only use 1 chip because it can't support the dual data rate if you run two DIMM's (i.e. 2x 16gb @ 3733MHZ).

If you want to buy a DDR4-4266 speed dual channel RAM, you'll only be able to use one of them, not the other.

    I agree but since

I would urge you not to lock yourself into to one company over the other.  I like AMD also, I have a Ryzen system and when looking at purchasing a graphics card i liked the rx580 but at the time of purchase the RX was way overpriced and Nvidia had better $ per performance.  I have a gtx1060 6gb and have no regrets.

For that price I'd go for a 1060 6gb honestly.
