bubuie reacted to MarvintheParrot in Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 Fan RGB change
The Halo have another ring of RGB around the fan blades. (I think)

bubuie got a reaction from MarvintheParrot in Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 Fan RGB change
I was thinking buying those and changing them instead of the Fans that I have on arctic liquid freezer II and put, arctic ones on the back side of the radiator, and one spare from coolermaster one as exhaust one on back of the PC. Atm I have Deepcool dmesh 55 4F one Fan as an exhausts , two on top and one on back side of the case

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it seems to be a good compound.

bubuie reacted to Jurrunio in Internet speed boost
You can try using it at times with very low internet traffic, like after 1AM. Some internet service providers increase the bandwidth or even outright remove the speed cap at those times.

bubuie reacted to tarfeef101 in H105 Mounting Position
Why change what you have going on? that looks like the tubes are just the right length to be mounted where they are, and 2 intakes + 2 exhaust fans will give you slightly positive air pressure since the rad restricts the air flow a bit (good thing).
moving the cooler won't help your CPU temps, no. and it might raise GPU temps 1 or 2 degrees since it'd be giving warmer air to the GPU to use to cool itself. not a huge deal, but worth noting.
basically, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

front = fresh air intake from outside the case
top = hot air intake from every single component inside the case
as for the fans, always: front = intake // top = exhaust

No, I think it's fine leaving it plugged in there.

bubuie reacted to CheeseburgerChad in Getting NEW MB need CPU recomm
Well the K is still faster out of the box than the non-K even if you don't overclock due to its faster base clock speed. All we're trying to say is you won't be able to overclock on the motherboard you are getting, which is a deal-breaker for many people. However, since it sounds like you're not willing to buy a different board, your fastest option is still a non-overclocked 7700k regardless. It is the fastest consumer-grade CPU for that socket.

bubuie reacted to bcredeur97 in GPU runs like crazy
fans @ 100% is usually indicative of some kind of connection failure in which the GPU does not know what is going on so it puts fans at 100% "to be safe"
I've had this happen to me with a bad motherboard once in which one of the GPU's kept disconnecting from the computer.

bubuie reacted to Oshino Shinobu in Corsair Logo Rotated CPU Cooler
I know that sometimes the logo can be a little bit off, but that's way off.
Take the cooler off and see if you can rotate how it sits in the mounting bracket. I don't think the logo itself can be rotated, so you'd have to rotate the entire cooler a bit and then mount it down in the right position.
Also, what's with the title? It asks something completely different to the thread.

If you mean H100i v2, I would go with that one, it is a newer product.

bubuie reacted to WereCat in Overclocking RAM 1600 to 1866 MHZ
Your CPU supports only 1600MHz max. Since you have a locked CPU, you can't use faster RAM either.
Edit:
However, you may be able to lower the RAM latency at 1600MHz.
But in your case, I very much doubt that you will see any benefit either with faster or lower latency RAM.

bubuie reacted to TheSLSAMG in i7 3770k Worth Upgrade?
The H100i is a very capable cooler, you should be able to get a good overclock with it.

I see, thats hell of a friend giving u such a gift
You can still use 3770K, the GPU will not stretch its legs at 1080p.
Do this: Get 3770K, run few syntethic benchmarks and compare your results with others (it will be worse but just see by how much).
Then run some games at 1080p 60Hz or 144Hz (if possible) and see GPU and CPU usage. If your CPU runs at 95%-100% usage then your CPu is struggling and you need to buy new monitor with higher resolution so GPU is working a little harder taking that massive load off of the CPU.
Alternative: buy all-in-one watercooler and OC that CPU.
