I know I can't be the only one that's had this issue.
Thinking was harmless I did a OS update from system settings and now the OS only loads to a paint then stops (see attached image).
I started with Cinnamon GUI only. But have since installed GNOME GUI.
I went through this tutorial: https://github.com/BeanGreen247/Debian_10_Proprietary_NVIDIA_Driver_Install_Guide
To get a RTX 3070 working. I also installed Flat Pak https://flatpak.org/setup/Debian/ so could make use of this GPU utility GreenWithEnvy
After I did a update from the system preferences the OS will not boot to the GUI.
However, I can get the system up and running in command-line mode. I'm assuming I need to fully repeat the nvidia driver tutorial to get the OS to fully load up.
Wanted to see if anyone has run into this issue.
