It's also dead now, but i'm just curious why my new laptop runs at a slower frequence than it's said to do.

My old Sony ran a 105 and it didn't even care about going down again...

Hey LTT forum I have had problems with some strange sound cracking with my laptop right at the begining. But now i noticed that when i play games like Battlefield 4 and Tomb Raider (all games), it only runs at 1.9 ghz instead of the (at least) 2.5 ghz that it says on the box. It's not over heating, only runs about 70-80 degrees celsius. What's the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks

So it looks like they're both 3.3 volt.

Do i really have to do all this..? Does the motherboard really need both wires?

So i'm corently sleeving all my cables. I was about to sleeve the 24-pin, when i noticed the pin out was pretty weird looking. Why is there a empty spot in the motherboard end but all of the cables are in the psu end? I also noticed that two cables are joining togheter in the motherboard end?

I know you can combine two different graphic cards as long it's the same GPU, but is it safe? I was about to upgrade to another Asus 780ti DCii, but they are way too expensive or not available at all. Then I noticed the Matrix is a lot cheaper for some reason. Is it safe to run the Matrix and the DCii together in SLI?

Some what yeah, just make sure each wire go into the exact same hole as they used to.

I usually draw the pin-out in paint. Just take one wire at a time so you won't make any mistakes. This is the pin-out for Corsairs RM series 8pin
